At present, every Catholic has to separate from him since it is inadmissible to submit to the spirit of Assisi – the spirit of antichrist – which he has elevated to the altar of the Church. The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate hereby turns to the representatives of the political power in Ukraine. Patriarchate, as a representative of the orthodox Catholic teaching, is obliged before God and before the Ukrainian nation to give a clear standpoint on the ongoing moral and spiritual changes in Ukrainian society. So-called adjustment of legislation is taking place and certain practices implanted from and financed by the decadent West are being introduced. This moral devastation comes from until recently Christian Europe and America. It is the fruit of a curse for betrayal of faith and for apostasy of Western Catholicism. The fruit is perverted homosexuality and paedophilia among Catholic clergy and in the world.

The First Vatican Council formulated the dogma of papal infallibility. The formulation contained a statement that the Pope is infallible in matters of faith and morals, when acting ex cathedra. That means when he declares certain truth and formulates it clearly referring to God’s authority. Subsequently, all Catholics are bound in conscience before God by the declared truth. The dogma of papal infallibility does not guarantee that the Pope in his private life and in his private theological views cannot be wrong. It also does not mean that he himself cannot fall into a heresy or apostasy. If he falls into apostasy and is unwilling to separate from it, he is Pope no longer because God’s anathema has fallen on him. Benedict XVI and the apostatic hierarchy united with him hold to the heresy of syncretism (Assisi) and they want everyone to consider this heresy a teaching of the Church.

Beatification of an apostate meant elevation of the spirit of Assisi – the spirit of antichrist – to the altar of the Catholic Church. Thus the rule in the Church has been taken over by the spirit of apostasy which denies the fundamental truths of the Gospel. As from 1^st May 2011, the external structure of the Catholic Church does not represent the Church of Christ any longer. The entire Catholic Church has fallen into apostasy. A Catholic, who wants to be saved today, must necessarily separate himself from the apostate Pope as well as from the apostatical structure with the spirit of death (i.e. from the hierarchy, heretical theologians and priests). This structure tolerates and privileges the gravest crimes against the faith and morals, all current heresies, homosexuality, paedophilia…

On 4^th April 2010, the Day of the Resurrection of Christ, 882 bishops of the EU states excommunicated themselves from the Mystical Body of Christ – the Church. On 19^th February 2010 they were publicly appealed again to confess the faith. However, they publicly denied Christ and His Gospel. They obstinately persist in unity with the contemporary heresies and with the spirit that is behind them. This spirit as well as the very heresies deny the essence of our salvation and of whole Christianity. Anathema – God’s punishment – cannot be removed from them even by the Pope himself unless they themselves repent in public. Supposing they die in obstinacy, they will be eternally condemned. As from 4^th April 2010, they occupy the Church posts unlawfully and none of the believers can obey them. Starting from 5^th April 2010, the sacraments administered by them are invalid. From the same date the priests ordained by them will be no priests!

The Catholic Church is undergoing an extremely great crisis. Instead of the process of renewal through true biblical repentance there continues the process of self-destruction. Full responsibility for this state falls on the Church hierarchy. Therefore on 15^th March and 15^th September 2009 our Synod of the Ukrainian orthodox Greek-Catholic Church appealed to all Bishops of the Catholic Church to publicly confess their faith and to renounce the contemporary heresies by 25^th December 2009. Public denial of faith and persistence in unity with heresies is connected with the latae sententiae penalty of excommunication (can. 1364 §1 CIC), i.e. expulsion from the Church. According to God’s law everyone who denied the faith falls under the punishment of God’s anathema – God’s curse.
