You were not a dry lawyer or a soulless professor, but a man with a sense of truth and justice who understood human weakness. This is in response to the defamation of Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò by Auxiliary Bishop Schneider of Kazakhstan. During an interview with the Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima on 10 March, Auxiliary Bishop Schneider was asked an absurd question: “Is Archbishop Viganò in schism?” Schneider gave an even more absurd answer: “Unfortunately it is true.”
