Letter to Msgr. Tarcisio Bertone, Vatican Secretary of State (23.11.2011)
Lvov (Ukraine), 23 November 2011
Msgr. Tarcisio Bertone
Vatican Secretary of State
Monsignor,
we hereby inform You that our Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate applied to the representatives of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan for cancellation of diplomatic relations with the Vatican. The reason was that the Vatican had betrayed moral and spiritual values and through heresies and the spirit of Assisi – the spirit of antichrist – brings down a curse upon all nations that are in whatever unity with it.
Monsignor, we believe that You still have a shred of self-criticism and fear of God. The Pope has brought down a curse on the whole Church. Therefore we appeal to You to make him withdraw diplomats not only from Ukraine but also from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Moreover, we beseech both You and Benedict XVI to repent in earnest. You have already brought the Church of God under the power of antichrist. In Your justification, we have to admit that You were exposed to extreme psychical and spiritual pressure. However, it does not relieve You of responsibility before God, before the Church and before mankind.
We warned the Pope many times that in the present situation he would either be a martyr or a traitor. And the same referred to You. If You had no mercy on the souls entrusted to Your care, be now merciful at least to Your own soul. You will soon depart from this life. Do not refuse the grace for repentance which God is offering You today. Tomorrow it may be late. The grace refused shall never come back. You shall lose everything and, most importantly, eternal life, and Your soul shall be eternally condemned. Please, do separate – at least You – from the spiritual death machinery which You have allowed to seize the power in the Catholic Church.
In Christ,
