“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:

Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles,

and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus.”

“Of sin, because they do not believe in Me;

of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;

of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.”

“They will put you out of the synagogues;

yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.

And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.”

“But when the Comforter comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father,

the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.”

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.

If you were of the world, the world would love its own.

Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world,

therefore the world hates you.”

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed

you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain,

that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”

“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

Greater love has no one than this,

than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,

you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”

“I am the vine, you are the branches.

He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit;

for without Me you can do nothing.”

“Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus

and for the word of God, who had not worshipped the beast or his image,

and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands.”

“And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire,

and those who have the victory over the beast,

over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name.”

“And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever;

and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image,

and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
