“The Lord God has opened my ear;

and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away.”

“The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light;

Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,

“Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.””

and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image,

and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands.”

let me be delivered from those who hate me,

“On this mountain the Lord will destroy the veil

that shrouds all the peoples, the sheet spread over all the nations.”

“On that day the Lord will punish the host of heaven, in heaven,

and the kings of the earth, on the earth.”

“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth

will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth

will be loosed in heaven.”

“They know nothing, they understand nothing.

They walk about in darkness;

all the foundations of the earth are shaken.”
