“For we know that our old self was crucified with Him

so that the body of sin might be done away with,

that we should no longer be slaves to sin.”

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death,

that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father,

even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

but God gave it to Abraham by promise.”

and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.”

“But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident,

for ‘the just shall live by faith’”

“And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith,

preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying,

‘In you all the nations shall be blessed.’”

“Just as Abraham ‘believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.’

Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.”
