Reflection on Heb 12:1-2a

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus.”

The Word of God says that we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. They are especially spiritual beings, angels, who are witnesses of our life. God speaks to us through them, too – for example, a saving thought flashes through our mind in a crisis situation. Unfortunately, we often cast it aside and pursue the vision of sin. Therefore, the Scriptures encourage us to throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. Our life is like a strenuous run to reach the heavenly goal through various obstacles. In this run we are to have our eyes fixed on Jesus! He is, as the Scripture continues in verse 2, the author and perfecter of our faith”, because He guides our faith from the beginning to the end along the narrow way of the cross until we obtain the eternal crown in the joy of heaven. We should be aware that we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses – angels.

Verses 22-24 tell us: “But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of a new covenant, and to purifying blood which pleads more insistently than the blood of Abel. See to it that you do not refuse Him who speaks.”

We should be aware that we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses, that we have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, to God, the Judge of all men, and to Jesus – His blood purifies us if we repent.

We live at a time when everyone needs to think seriously and seriously address the issue of the forced mRNA vaccination. This vaccination is really experimental and true experts warn against it. Anyone who is looking for the truth knows and can answer the question of whether the purpose of this vaccine is human health or the contrary. What is more, it is not just about health, it is about eternal life! Every sincere Christian is faced with a choice: either accept the vaccine or reject it.

The first option – if anyone receives the vaccine, he becomes part of the process of so-called reduction of humanity and will then have to receive a series of other fatally dangerous vaccines. But most importantly, this is not only about a negative physical effect but also about a demonic effect, which results from the very nature of the so-called vaccine and its spiritual background. It affects the human soul and dulls a person. It makes him aggressive and hardened to the truth and repentance, which is the path to eternal damnation! In addition, those who have received the vaccine will not be protected from new forms of infection, but on the contrary, will spread them. Eventually, they will suffer from severe illnesses, ulcers, as the Bible warns, and will even lose their earthly life. The vaccination process entails enslavement, which is getting more and more intense.

If the vaccinated person suffers no consequences, one must know that some vaccines are placebos to give the impression that there is nothing wrong with the vaccine.

The second option – if anyone rejects the vaccine, he will primarily face persecution, or imprisonment, and in some cases even martyrdom. We need to know it. However, if we remain faithful in this suffering, we will save our soul for eternity. We also need to remember that God will work and help us in this suffering, just as He once helped the martyrs in their suffering. Many will even save their earthly lives, unlike those who have received the vaccine.

It is therefore necessary to pray all the more for each of us to have the correct direction in this time of extraordinary pressure of lies and manipulation, to stand the test, not to be misled or deceived and not to succumb to fear or panic or certain advantages or promises, and ultimately not to lose both eternal and earthly life. Fathers of families in particular should, above all, seek the truth, protect their families, encourage one another and also pray together. God can save the whole nation through a few brave men.

Many of you are praying for present-day heroes, including the Lviv activist Ostap, who is now making a sacrifice for his courage and love of the truth. And it is not just him, but also brave women who have stood up for the truth. They also need prayer to persevere. Yes, let us pray that we too may stand firm in this struggle, which is in fact a struggle for the crown of eternal glory, even at the cost of being bloodless or bloody martyrs.

At Christmas time, we commemorate the feast of St Stephen, the First Martyr. May he obtain for us the love of truth, the living Truth in particular – that is, Jesus born in Bethlehem and dying in disgrace on the cross for our sake!

May His coming and His suffering not be in vain for us!

May we remain faithful to Him and obtain eternal life!
