Questions addressed to Czech Bishops concerning topical issues

Bishops of the Czech Republic

Dear members of the Czech Bishops’ Conference,

in 2006, the Czech Republic legalized registered partnership of homosexuals. You were obliged to put up active resistance. However, the whole CBK (Czech Bishops’ Conference) was hypocritically silent. Through Your fault this immoral law was adopted by a single vote.

In 2009, the President of the German Bishops’ Conference, Archbishop Zollitsch, publicly denied Christ’s redemptive death on the cross. Together with the German bishops You were appealed to dissociate Yourselves from this heresy which destroys the saving faith and brings down God’s anathema – a curse according to Gal 1:8-9. You approved the heresy by Your silence, fell under God’s anathema and still remain so.

This year, when we commemorate the 1150th anniversary of the arrival of Saints Cyril and Methodius from Byzantium to Moravia, the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate sent You both a public and personal appeal. It was to remind You of the responsibility to mobilize believers in the Czech Republic to hold peaceful demonstrations for the protection of the family. Due to the current destructive pressures the family has found itself in a critical situation. Once again, You refused to fulfil Your duty of defending the laws of God and the flock. You thus increased Your guilt in the ongoing autogenocide of the Church and nation. Therefore, You not only continue to be under God’s anathema but You also bring it down on the Church and nation.

In an open letter dated 22 May 2013, the Patriarchate drew Your attention to the dire situation that leads to total demoralization, destruction of Christianity and the holocaust in Europe. To be silent in this situation is a crime. Saint Basil says: “He who has responsibility and is silent deserves the same punishment as a murderer.” Due to Your silence You are to blame not only for the legalization of so-called registered partnership of homosexuals but also for the legalization of narcotics, the establishment of juvenile justice mechanisms for child stealing and demoralization… Being silent, today You are to blame for the repeated attempts to legalize adoption of children by homosexuals, for the legalization of prostitution, tomorrow You will be culpable of the legalization of paedophilia, zoophilia, incest, reproductive technologies – de facto surrogate motherhood on demand, euthanasia for healthy people and children, as well as the law allowing dealings with human organs against one’s will!

The Czech nation was appealed to organize demonstrations in support of the family, and You as bishops were obliged to mobilize the priests and believers by a pastoral letter. It remains a big question mark why You blocked this extremely great need to mobilize the nation. It would cost You no heroic sacrifice, but rather it would mean the beginning of a spiritual awakening and salvation of the nation. To justify Yourselves by the fact that next year the Episcopal Conference will formally announce the year of the family is hypocrisy.

If You still adhere to Christian principles, You need to see the need of the time. Your responsibility before God for the people is much greater than that of politicians. If at a strategic moment You neglect to do what You are obliged to, You are most to blame for the prepared tragedy of the nation.

For these serious reasons, this time we address specific questions to You:

1) Do You renounce contemporary heresies denying the Divinity of Christ? If so, prohibit the historical-critical method at theological faculties and church schools.

2) The spirit of Assisi places the worship of God on the same level as the worship of demons (cf. 1Cor 10:30). Do You renounce the spirit of Assisi – the spirit of syncretism? If so, warn the Catholic believers in a pastoral letter against the invasion of Buddhism, Hinduism and neo-paganism.

3) Christianity worldwide is currently destroyed by gender ideology. Do You adhere to the position of God’s Word which says that homosexuality is a sin and an abomination? If so, mobilize the Czech Catholics in the same way as the Bishops of Moldova. They appealed to the people for a penitent crusade around Moldova in protest against homosexual laws between 2 August and 21 September 2013.

4) Gender ideology destroys human nature and mind. It inculcates the minds of children in kindergartens with the opinion that they have the right to choose their gender. Are You willing to openly call this crime against young generation by its proper name? Are You aware of the obligation to make a formal request to the Ministry of Education that so-called gender education should be eliminated from all school and preschool programmes?

5) International Court of Justice at The Hague legalized paedophilia by allowing the Party of Paedophiles. Are You willing to publicly condemn these crimes against children as well as incest and perversion of zoophilia connected with them?

6) Children and youth are demoralized and demonized by the juvenile justice system. It is a form of neo-fascism aimed at destroying the family. Are You willing as shepherds to make demands on the government to abolish this evil system in the Czech Republic?

7) So-called foster families are financially motivated and are the trigger mechanism of the evil juvenile justice system. Basically, it is the trafficking of children. Are You willing to take effective measures against this atrocious system?

8 ) Russia and Belarus prepare the laws on the protection of youth which shall prevent access to the internet websites that promote pornography and suicide. Are You willing to urge the government to take similar measures?

9) The Czech Republic has legalized narcotics. This paved the way for devastation of the young generation on a massive scale. Are You aware of Your duty to demand that the government should abolish the legalization of narcotics in the Czech Republic?

10) The EU has legalized euthanasia even for healthy people and children. The Church has always had a negative attitude towards suicide. What measures will You take against this mechanism of unnatural death?

11) We are witnessing gradual introduction of chipping. The Word of God in the Book of Revelation warns against this system of the Antichrist, because whoever receives the mark of the apocalyptic beast in the hand or forehead will be cast into the lake of fire. Orthodox believers and many scientists and scholars hold regular protest demonstrations in front of the Parliament in Kiev against this instrument of total control and manipulation of human nature. What about You? Will You be silent?

12) It is publicly known that the ideology of so-called reduction or autogenocide of humanity is backed by the organization of Freemasons. Are You aware of the obligation before God to cease any cooperation with them and to show the true nature of Freemasonry, as many Popes did?

These questions only partially describe the current means of autogenocide of the nation, primarily the young generation. You are responsible before God and the nation for whether the autogenocidal system in the Czech Republic will be stopped or cause both a physical and spiritual disaster, which will have an impact on all eternity. God gives You another chance to repent and to be absolved from anathema. You still have a choice. Write a pastoral letter which will make a true diagnosis and show the solution: The believers should hold peaceful demonstrations and meetings in support of children and family and write letters to the MPs.

You Yourselves should also make formal requests to the government and demand the abolition of antilaws that destroy the moral, Christian and national values. Let the Czech Republic follow the example of Hungary and introduce laws that protect the family from homosexual perversion.

Realize that the duty of every bishop is to defend the laws of God and to wage a struggle for the salvation of souls even at the price of persecution or martyrdom. At this historic time You will either be witnesses of Christ (‘martyres’) or traitors.

The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate appeals to You to give clear answers to these vitally important questions by 15 August 2013 and to make Your stand public in Your dioceses – Ordinaries by pastoral letter, Auxiliary Bishops by public announcement.

If You remain silent this time again, it is a public gesture that You have taken the position of betrayal of God, the Church and the nation. The Patriarchate will be forced to warn Czech priests and believers to categorically separate from You as from traitors and apostates. Those who will remain in unity with You have their portion in the lake of fire just like all those whose names are no longer written in the book of life. There is still time to change the direction of the way You walk.
