Isolation of the Patriarch of Jerusalem Irenaeus (+ video)
An appeal to pseudo-patriarch Theophilos
The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate hereby appeals to ex-Bishop and pseudo Patriarch Theophilus to leave the post in Jerusalem for the legitimate and true Patriarch Irenaeus. Patriarch Irenaeus has been forcibly kept in isolation since 2005.
On 25 April 2012, ex-Bishop Theophilus made a gesture of apostasy in Kiev. He thus publicly presented the pagan worship of demons and the worship of the Triune God as equal ways to salvation. This gesture represents the supreme heresy. By reason of this gesture, Theophilus fell under God’s curse – anathema acc. Gal 1:8-9. The anathema was declared on 3 May 2012. Theophilus shows no repentance and thus commits a sin against the Holy Spirit. In the case of sudden death eternal damnation is in store for him.
On 1 May 2011, an anathema was declared on Pope Benedict XVI by reason of his gesture of beatification of John Paul II and posthumously on John Paul II too. Owing to this public gesture, the Holy Spirit was expelled from the Catholic Church and replaced by the spirit of Assisi – the spirit of antichrist. The bishops and priests who are in unity with the spirit of antichrist celebrate Divine Liturgy invalidly. The anathema was declared on them on the same day, 1 May 2011.
Patriarch Bartholomew fell under God’s curse by reason of his apostatical gesture in Assisi on 27 October 2011. The anathema was declared on 24 May 2013.
Patriarch Kyrill fell under God’s curse by reason of his apostatical gesture in Astana on 30 May 2012. The anathema was declared on 31 May 2012.
The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate hereby appeals to the apostate Theophilus to repent and to give place to the legitimate Patriarch Irenaeus. Unless he does so, he brings down a curse not only on himself but on the whole city of Jerusalem.
