In a letter dated 14th June 2011, the “Movement of Pure Hearts” addressed themselves to Archbishop Markian (UOGCC). They asked for a definite and responsible statement on the issue of legalization of LGBTs and juvenile justice. Legalization of these two destructive structures endangers not only the moral and spiritual values of the Ukrainian nation but also seriously breaks God’s laws.
At the request of Bishop Markian, the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate, which also includes the Ukrainian orthodox Greek-Catholic Church (UOGCC), now makes an official statement on the given issues:
1) LGBTs (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transsexuals) commit sins or even abominations which cause moral decay not only of the individual but also of the society as a whole. A healthy society always defended itself against this epidemic of immorality as well as against other crimes which destroy the healthy core of society. In fact, so-called liberty and rights of LGBT people deprive the majority of the population of their liberty and do injustice to the defenceless. In spiritual aspect, it is sexual perversion which is associated with demonic bondage. The individual people should be treated with love which desires their salvation, but the spiritual infection cannot be tolerated. In health care, every fatal infection must be isolated and stopped so as not to bring about mass destruction of the entire territories. Creation of an artificial impression that one violates the rights and freedoms of the deadly infected people, that they are stigmatized, discriminated and traumatized, is total nonsense and a crime. They must at all costs be prevented from infecting the healthy population (the spread of homosexuality and hence AIDS).
God’s Word and the whole Christian tradition take a firm position on homosexuality and so-called LGBTs: Homosexuals who refuse to repent will have no share in the Kingdom of God (cf. 1Cor 6:9). A warning example for all generations is God’s punishment of reducing to ashes the depraved inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah (cf. Gen 18, Jud 7). The root of homosexuality is reverence for demons through assimilation with pagan idolatry (cf. Rom 1).
Therefore we appeal to the deputies not to let themselves be influenced by the newly introduced perverse norms which refer to so-called eurostandards and put perversion into the centre of a so-called new eurosociety.
We declare unequivocally and with all responsibility: Legalization of the LGBT groups means the beginning of a process of gradual moral, spiritual and physical genocide of European nations. Ukraine, which is not in this prison of nations, still has the opportunity to maintain national sovereignty and to stop the demoralizing and demonizing process of the impending genocide.
2) Juvenile justice
First one must realize what “juvenile justice” covers and what it brings along. Juvenile justice means destruction of the natural law, i.e. of a moral upbringing of children in the family. The upbringing of a child is qualified by the juvenile justice system as violence against children. This is a colossal fraud and demagoguery. Children are taken away from families for absurd reasons such as “stifling maternal love”, as evidenced in the case of Mrs Zakharova. In France, these petty reasons have already made 2 million forced orphans. In Ukraine, social workers who have already introduced the practice of juvenile justice are planning to remove 30-50,000 children from the Ukrainian families every year for sale – for so-called adoption abroad. This is tyranny on defenceless children. A supreme crime against humanity is that these children are preferentially adopted by homosexuals and paedophiles, and will even be turned into so-called live goods and sold for organs, as Italian Interior Minister R. Maroni has revealed about the fates of foreign children. If this is called international conventions, commitments, declarations, resolutions and eurostandards, then we declare that these are unprecedented international crimes that cannot even be compared with the crimes committed by the totalitarian system of Nazism. These are the cruellest crimes against human nature. Through perverse sexuality children, if they stay alive, are demoralized, demonized and become addicts – slaves of alcohol, narcotics and other perversions. These victims of false philosophies and psychologies and of engineers of the demonic UN and EU ideology end up in jails, commit suicide and their souls, more often than not, end in hell. This whole system is a demonic and criminal system which every sensible person must condemn and categorically distance himself from it. This is a clear and uncompromising position not only of the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate but of the Spirit of God who is behind the whole Holy Scripture and orthodox Christian Tradition. Unfortunately, this clear moral and biblical attitude has been betrayed by the Western Catholic hierarchy which fell away from the essence of Christianity and is under God’s anathema according to Gal 1:8-9 (heresies, reverence for demons, homosexual and paedophile scandals).
The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate hereby calls upon all deputies of the city of Lvov as well as all citizens of the Ukrainian nation, whether believers or unbelievers, to urge Members of Parliament not to allow in any case legalization of the juvenile justice system or legalization of homosexuality (LGBT) in Ukraine either in August this year or ever in the future. Introduction of so-called marriage between two men or two women demoralizes the society and destroys the institution of the family. Legalization of sin draws down a curse upon the entire nation! If this pseudo couple adopts children, it commits violence against them and depraves them.
May Almighty God grant His blessing and courage to all those who fight to save the spiritual and moral values!
