Dear Sirs and Madams,
the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate addresses You in this historic moment. On 10 April, the Parliament is to vote again on the Procedural Criminal Code of Ukraine (PCC).
The Procedural Criminal Code contains an amendment No. 1, according to which so-called “independent courts” shall be established in Ukraine. These include juvenile courts which punish parents with the cruellest punishment – permanent removal of children, e.g. on grounds of “stifling maternal love” (90% of children removed in France were removed for this reason).
“Independent courts” are in fact independent of justice, the Ukrainian government and legislation. Following the UN recommendations and PACE resolutions, these courts will prioritize criminal international standards rather than national legislation. Consequently, homosexual perversion and the cynical juvenile justice system will be made law. Juvenile justice removes children from their parents without any trial or real guilt and places them in foster homes. Children wander from one family to another and eventually are sold to homosexuals or paedophiles abroad, and often even for organs. To date 40,000 homosexuals and paedophiles from abroad are on the “waiting list” for Ukrainian children. Therefore once more the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate is sending out an SOS!
The draft of the PCC ideologically replaces the term “crime” with the term “criminal offence”. The Ukrainian society will cease to perceive what is a crime and what is simply an “offence”. If there is a confusion of terms, people’s minds are easy to manipulate. An example of manipulation is the Lisbon Treaty with deliberately misleading terminology.
The draft of the PCC (Chapter 35) introduces new criminal proceedings which take place only on the basis of agreements. (“Agreement” is a synonym for “mediation”. The law on mediation was rejected by Parliament.) The programmes of “reconciliation” between the aggrieved and the offenders are the most common form of restorative justice and a key element of the juvenile justice system. Instead of the court there is a so-called third party (mediator) that intervenes between the victim and the offender. This mediator is an incompetent person, just hastily trained up for the purpose. And this person is to replace the judicial apparatus! The result of this will be total corruption, increase in crime and penalization of innocent people without trial. Objective standards of guilt or punishment will no longer exist. Everything depends on the subjective interests of the mediator. This is a total failure of the justice system. And what is more, all qualified judges and lawyers will be out of a job. A juvenile probation worker assesses parents as offenders who commit psychological or economic violence against children. These characteristics are the reason for removing children.
Dear Sirs and Madams, by adopting the Procedural Criminal Code You will in fact legalize independent courts and the supranational juvenile justice system. This is the greatest crime against children and against the nation! For its approval You will be condemned as mass criminals both before God and before the people. You will not escape the judgement of men, and the less so the judgement of God!
The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate suggests that the vote on the PCC should be held in front of a camera so that the whole nation may know who among the MPs is a Judas and a traitor, a criminal against children and the nation, and who is a heroic patriot and a Christian.
