The Masons of Lvov publicly declare themselves to be Greek Catholics and refer to Card. Husar, ex-Head of the UGCC, and the Archbishop of Lvov, Igor Voznyak. The front page of the newspaper ‘Vysokyi Zamok’ (2003) carried a photograph of L. Husar and a headline “I am not a Mason (a member of the French Lodge … it’s a confusion of names).” There is a photograph of Archbishop Voznyak with some of the UGCC bishops present at a meeting of the Registered Cossacks, who are in unity of spirit with the lodges in Lvov.
The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate is obliged to say a clear word primarily on the issue of Freemasonry in the Church. All the Popes unequivocally condemned Freemasonry. Until 1983, a Catholic who was a member of a Masonic lodge was automatically excommunicated from the Church, which was just the outward expression of the real spiritual state of the concerned. In 1983, Pope John Paul II issued a revised Code of Canon Law which received the Masons into the Church. But this contradicts the essence of the Scripture and the spirit of the whole Christian tradition. A Mason voluntarily joins an organization which promises him a career at the price of betrayal of Christ and God’s laws. Such a person in later stages is consecrated not to God but to the devil. It is quite logical that even if he was received into the Church a thousand times by the canon law, according to God’s law, which is above the canon law, he is excommunicated from the Mystical Body of Christ – the Church. Membership in the external structure does not alter the fact that he is no longer a member of the Church of Christ. In the hour of death he will be condemned to eternal damnation in hell. The fact that a church hierarch is a member of a lodge does not mean that this organization is thus sanctified, but it means that this person sold himself to the devil and is a candidate of hell, whoever he may be, without exception.
The major world powers (USA, EU, CoE) and supranational organizations (UN, UNICEF, UNESCO, WHO, various international funds) pursue demoralization of humanity, and ultimately its reduction (genocide), through the promotion of homosexuality, gender transsexuality, zoophilia, juvenile justice, drug legalization, vaccination, “green” policies, chipping, globalization and euthanasia. This is not only about physical genocide but about trafficking in the souls which are demoralized and demonized and finally thrown into eternal damnation. These structures have been infiltrated and inspired by the spirit of the Masonic lodges, which is the spirit of lies and death – the devil. These are the most serious crimes against God and humanity in human history.
Opposite the Lvov City Hall there is a restaurant with publicly displayed freemason’s tokens on its banners. On 14 December 2011, the representative of the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU), together with Card. Husar, declared the necessity of establishing “initiative groups” and civic organizations as well as the necessity for a new moral code with phrases about dignity, freedom, rule of law. They want to change the “rules of the game in the state” and establish a new, for the time being unofficial government. They say that their primary concern is “a change of spirit” – that means, a change of the Spirit of Christ for the spirit of antichrist. There is not a single word heard about Christ, the Gospel, repentance or eternal salvation. Husar and the apostate hierarchy united with him strike a patriotic chord. They exploit nationalist sentiment to destroy the nation, the Church and all moral and traditional values of Ukraine. Not once have these Church hierarchs stood in defence of children against the juvenile justice system or homosexualism nor have they said a single clear word against the expansion of the Masonic organization. They are doing quite the opposite.
Dear members of the lodges of Lvov, the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate is obliged to say a clear word to You as Greek Catholics for Your own good, both temporal and eternal. At the hour of Your death You will be judged by God Himself according to Your response to it. If You obey the voice for Your salvation, You will be saved. If You refuse, You will be eternally condemned. Why did You join the Masonic organization? For the sake of career and material benefits You sold Your souls to the devil. Jesus said to the tempter in the wilderness who offered Him power: “Away with you, Satan!” (Mt 4:9-10) You surrendered Your will to an “angel of light” who is the spirit of lies and death. 33rd degree of Masonry utterly unites man with Satan. You persuade Yourselves and believe that You are doing social and charitable work with the view to uniting humanity and the like. In fact, by Your “minor services” of obedience You are killing the living cells of restoration of the Church and society. You do not allow the nation to be truly united and to offer resistance to evil and to impending self-destruction! You Yourselves lead it into this self-destruction by systematically and covertly promoting the “euro standards”, such as homosexuality, so-called gender equality and euthanasia. During the rite of initiation You had a sword touched to Your throat, and You are well aware that disobedience to this organization is punishable by death. There have been many cases of poisoned, murdered or hanged Masons.
The safest way out for the sake of salvation of Your souls is to break with this organization as soon as possible, even at the cost of career, material benefits or even physical life. Why? Because eternal life is the greatest value and if man loses his soul he loses everything (cf. Mk 8:36). We, as true shepherds, love You and want You to be separated from formal Greek Catholicism with the spirit of Card. Husar and the UCU (Ukrainian Catholic University) and to become true Catholics who give the first place to Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord and the second place to the salvation of their souls and the souls of others.
