Word of life – Rom 5:21
“…so that as sin reigned in death,
even so grace might reign through righteousness
to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

The preceding verse speaks of the contrast between sin and grace. “Where sin abounded, grace abounded much more.” (v.20) Verse 21 again lays emphasis not only on the reign of sin and death but mainly on the reign of God’s grace through Jesus Christ. God’s grace reigns through righteousness to eternal life.
