Dear Mr Kostyuk,
Dear deputies of LRSA,
we, Bishops of the Ukrainian orthodox Greek-Catholic Church (UOGCC), are turning to You in the matter of “Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence”. On 7 November 2011, this Convention was signed by the Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs. Please, appeal to the Government of Ukraine to abolish bindingness of this convention and to impose a ban on its promotion in education, culture and mass media.
From 17 to 18 November 2011, psychological manipulation of children took place in several Lvov schools on a commission from the feminist La Strada Ukraine and local gender centre. It was carried out by the students of psychology who were handing out leaflets against the so-called domestic violence. In the leaflet, a father is portrayed as an angry hulk with a skull painted on his chest, with his fists clenched and in his shadow there is a trembling child. Comprising part of the leaflet is also information on toll-free telephone numbers and legal formulation of the complaint against one’s parents: “I require that the guilty persons are brought to account…” The leaflet further advises to attach some documentation to the complaint.
We remind that experiment on the so-called combating domestic violence (September 2010) cost the life of three mothers in the Poltava region. In desperation that their beloved children had been permanently removed from them, they committed suicide.
Moral values and education
Good education is the greatest spiritual contribution for the child and a prerequisite for a happy life in the family and in society. Ill-bred children will not be able to start a family or create normal interpersonal relationships. They will end up in alcoholism, homosexualism, drugs, AIDS and ultimately well-trained psychologists will propose them an “ideal” way out: “sweet death” – euthanasia.
At present, children are exposed to great destructive pressures through “sex education”, the Internet, friends. There are models imposed on them of how to commit immoralities and crimes. Nowadays, not to defend a child against destructive influences is the height of parental irresponsibility and a heavy guilt of the education and culture system. If the school system leads to demoralization through manipulation programmes, courses, trainings, it is an organized crime against the new generation. This is international manipulation, when the nations are deceived into signing their own sentence of death and digging their own grave. Therefore, the UOGCC leadership stirs up all government structures and implores them to stop this process of autogenocide of the family and nation.
The aim of the so-called fight against domestic violence is to manipulate children into provoking their parents and consequently bringing complaints against them. Parents will be punished and their children will be irrevocably taken away from them to collection camps. No hotline will return them to their parents any more. In France, the juvenile justice system has turned 2 million children into artificial orphans. In Ukraine it is scheduled to remove from the families 30-50 000 children annually. Russian actress N. Zakharova has already for 13 years been struggling for the return of her daughter Masha in vain.
EU-laws bring in a new attitude of children towards their parents, one of a kind that has never existed in the history of mankind and is against nature. In contrast, God’s laws strengthen that which is sound in human nature. The fourth commandment of the Decalogue reads: “Honour your father and your mother, that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you in the land.” (Deut 5:16) For keeping this commandment God promises long life and blessing even here on earth. As to the issue of upbringing, God’s Word says: “Discipline … yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” (Heb 12:6-11) The Word of God certainly does not call discipline “domestic violence”.
The leaflets circulating in Lvov schools read that the so-called law distinguishes between 4 types of domestic violence:
1) physical
2) psychological
3) economic
4) sexual
ad 1) Physical violence
Quotation: “… humiliation of his/her (son’s, daughter’s), honour and dignity.”
Commentary: In practice this means that when e.g. a mother forces her minor son to put a cap on when going out to frost, and if he does not want to listen to her she prohibits him from going with his friends, it is branded as physical violence and “humiliation of his dignity” before his friends.
ad 2) Psychological violence
Quotation: “It is violence associated with the pressure exerted by one family member on the psyche of another by intentional verbal insults or threats, harassment, intimidation, which bring the victim into a state of emotional insecurity.”
Commentary:
verbal insults – for example, a father verbally reprimands his son for damaging a bike. A rebuke is qualified as an insult. If, however, a son grossly offends his father, it is now qualified as “a right of the child”.
threats – daughter returns late at night and her mother tells her: “If you come home as late as this again, we won’t let you go to such party any more!” These are the so-called threats. However, if a daughter gets under the influence of any gang which will impose drugs on her and will threaten her in many ways, it is classified as “a right of the child.”
harassment – A little boy finds sexual perversion on the Internet. His mother notices it, teaches him a lesson and forbids him to do it again. Then she watches him in order to see whether he really obeys. This is treated as harassment of the child by its mother.
“…bring the victim into a state of emotional insecurity.”
– victim – a well-bred child has a label “victim”. The use of such term is gross manipulation and distortion of the child’s thinking.
– state of “emotional insecurity” – especially during puberty girls experience the state of “emotional insecurity” almost constantly. Now they feel emotional excitement, now they take offence, now they wallow in self-pity, now they laugh and do not know why. It is a paradox to blame their parents for it. The fact that children are rude, do not want to listen to their parents, destroy material worth from negligence – these are now “the rights of the children”; however, a slightest effort to educate them, which stirs up their resentment, is a reason to punish parents for bringing children into a state of emotional insecurity. It is absurd that 12-year-old girl at puberty, full of emotional insecurity, was chosen as the main children’s ombudsman in Dnepropetrovsk. This loss of reason is the fruit of an ideology that comes from the European Union through the mass media manipulated by this supranational organization. Within the framework of the “elimination of violence against children” we suggest that children freely choose whether they want to burn down all the schools in Ukraine along with their teachers. There would probably be no school left. This total loss of reason, which is being incorporated into amendments to the laws, takes place as in the EU so in Ukraine. Where will this madness end?
ad 3) Economic violence
This notion is absurd. If the child feels a need of something, he or she tells it to the parents who, with regard to their possibilities or educational approach, will decide whether they will buy or not buy what the child wants – expensive clothes, toys, etc. A common example is that children want what they see with others, even though it is harmful to them. Wise parents must modify these wishes of theirs.
ad 4) Sexual violence
La Strada and the whole EU-system approve of homosexualism and juvenile justice and impose an absurd way of thinking on children. They teach children to look at their parents as if they were degenerate people. After removing children from their parents, juvenile justice is providing them for adoption to homosexuals and paedophiles. In accordance with the UN conventions that shape sex education programmes, children are instructed that they should accept paedophilia as love in which they are to find joy and pleasure. In fact, this results in life tragedies, traumas and crimes against humanity!
Children in Lvov were psychologically manipulated. It is just a matter of time before these children begin to blackmail their parents and complain about them at the addresses and phone numbers given.
Laws relating to the so-called domestic violence are criminal manipulation and must be repealed because they lead to moral, spiritual and physical genocide of the entire nation.
Dear Mr Kostyuk, dear deputies of LRSA, we ask You as responsible representatives of the nation to appeal to the Ukrainian government to cancel obligatoriness of the Convention signed on 7 November 2011.
At the same time we address You with a request to abolish gender centres at the Regional State Administration as well as in all districts of Lvov region and to stop gender programmes that directly in schools promote homosexualism and juvenile justice.
