Head of the UGCC and homosexualism

To the leadership of the UGCC

In his speech during a web-conference, Head of the UGCC S. Shevchuk condemned homosexuality whereby he provided an alibi for himself. He is well aware what legacy was left by Husar who had already made a breakthrough in the Church opinion on this matter by his approval of homosexualism. Husar then also hypocritically signed a declaration of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches against homosexualism as an alibi; however, it no longer had any practical impact.

Head of the UGCC, L. Husar, approved of homosexualism in his book “Discussions with His Beatitude L. Husar: On Postconfessional Christianity” (years 2006, 2007): “(Homosexuals) can live together. Of course, they can perform sexual activity of whatever kind but their love will always remain unfruitful.” (pg. 67 /Ukr. version/) Husar denies the biblical position on homosexuality as a sin. His statement further implies that homosexuals are born so: “Naturally, no one is guilty that he was born like that…” In fact, homosexuality is primarily acquired. Therefore, current amendments to the laws are designed to turn children into gays since preschool age.

In early November 2011, the site ZIK published information that the successor to Husar, S. Shevchuk, said that the sin of homosexuality is as serious as a murder. This means that the sin of homosexuality should be punished with as many years in prison as murder. Does Shevchuk put forward the suggestion following from his statement even to the Ukrainian government? Is thus Husar’s approval of homosexualism refuted? In fact, this shocking phrase means neither the former nor the latter.

Homosexualism is the most powerful lever for demoralization of nations and introduction of homodictatorship associated with moral devastation, spread of AIDS and, ultimately, with autogenocide of individual nations. This year the Council for LGBT Interests was registered in Ukraine by means of intrigues. Its leaders were among the first who congratulated Shevchuk to election and reminded that they had been actively cooperating with the UGCC hierarchy for 5 years. In addition, the Council for LGBT Interests has become an advisory body to the Ministry of Justice and proposes such amendments to the laws that covertly introduce immorality and lawlessness to the detriment of all Ukrainians. UGCC keeps hypocritically silent on it.

Recently the Ministry of Justice in cooperation with the Council for LGBT Interests proposed a law entitled “On Adoption of the Strategy on Combating Discrimination in Ukraine”. Its content is the introduction of anti-discrimination laws. In fact, the matter is introduction of discrimination against parents and all moral people who will oppose mass demoralization and invasion of homosexualism. The most powerful lever for practical implementation of homosexualism in schools and public life are gender centres at regional and district councils. These centres, although homosexualism has not yet been legalized in Ukraine, systematically train activists, especially among teachers, psychologists, sociologists, lawyers and politicians with the aim of progressively establishing homodictatorship in the whole nation. These gender centres are also associated with practical implementation of the juvenile justice system which aims at removing children from good families without trial and without any reason and subsequently giving them up for adoption to homosexuals and paedophiles.

Topical requirement:

1) Head of the UGCC Shevchuk must clearly and publicly distance himself from the statement of Card. Husar who approves of homosexuality.

2) Head of the UGCC Shevchuk must appeal to the Members of Parliament to throw out the bill “Strategy on Combating Discrimination in Ukraine”. In case it was already voted through, he should ask the President to veto this law that establishes homodictatorship.

3) Head of the UGCC Shevchuk must write a pastoral letter which would be read out obligatorily on two successive Sundays in all churches of the UGCC. He must clearly call all Catholic priests and faithful to circulate petitions and organize manifestations in front of district and regional councils with the following demands:

a) dissolution of gender centres at regional and district councils, as through their mediation homosexualism and juvenile justice are practically introduced in Ukraine;

b) dissolution of the Council for LGBT Interests

c) cessation of the process of legislative “amendments” that covertly pursue promotion of the ideology of homosexualism and juvenile justice.

Unless Shevchuk makes at least these concrete steps, his radical statement against homosexuality is a model of “alibism” – of perfectly artful deception of the public.
