Two Greek hierarchs betrayed Christ, the Church and the nation
July 4, 2015
To the people of Greece
The head of the Greek Orthodox Church, Archbishop Hieronymus II, in a critical moment in the period before the referendum, when he was obliged to say a clear word against the dictatorship of homosexuality
associated with child stealing by the juvenile justice system, betrayed the laws of God, Christ and the nation. Instead of pointing to the root of the curse brought down by homosexual laws and appealing to the nation to repent in earnest and to separate from the EU system of homodictatorship, he deceived the nation. He called the people to remain in this system of homodictatorship and thus enabled this system to continue its destruction of human souls. His phrases about solving the economic crisis are deceitful. He was obliged to defend God’s laws, which ultimately also bring economic well-being, and to condemn homosexuality, the consequence of which is among other things the economic crisis too. By his hypocritical statement and gesture he brought down upon himself God’s curse – anathema.
The same is true of Metropolitan of Thessaloniki Anthimos, who at this critical moment made the same gesture of betrayal: “I will vote for Europe”. The common believers shouted at him because they realized that the term “Europe” in his speech indicated submission to homodictatorship associated with the economic curse. By this gesture he also betrayed God, the Church and the nation, and brought down on himself God’s anathema according to Gal 1:8-9.
Declaration of anathema
The Byzantine Universal Patriarchate, by authority of the prophetic and apostolic office, in the name of the Triune God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, declares an anathema on the head of the Orthodox Church of Greece Hieronymus II and Metropolitan of Thessaloniki Anthimos. By their gestures and statements they both betrayed the Gospel of Christ and fell under God’s anathema according to Gal 1:8-9: “If anyone preaches any other gospel, even if it was an angel from heaven, let him be accursed – anathema sit.”
Archbishop Hieronymus II, Metropolitan Anthimos, You are excommunicated from the Mystical Body of Christ – the Church – before God and before the Church, and You now hold the external office in the Church unlawfully. Repent and leave the office which You have abused. Priests, monks and believers must no longer obey You, otherwise the curse which You brought down upon Yourselves by Your Judas’ betrayal is passed on to them too. If you persist in obstinacy, eternal damnation in hell is in store for You in the hour of Your death.
