Word of Life – Rom 5:9

“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood,
we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” (Rom 5:9 NKJ)

from 18th September to 2nd October 2011

This verse is linked to the previous one and also speaks about love. God’s love “agape” is associated here with Jesus’ blood shed on the cross. It is emphasized here that in this way God now demonstrates His love – agape. This verse points out the past and the future. The past – you have been justified by Jesus’ blood! The future – you will be saved from the just wrath of God! Remember: God is love; He is infinitely merciful, but this love and mercy is poured on you if you are in Christ. God is not only merciful but He is also just. Therefore, eternal fire and eternal condemnation is in store for them who reject God’s mercy given to us in Christ alone. He who rejects Christ by his unbelief and pride plunges himself into the eternal flames! So it holds true: “Who has the Son has life. Who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (1Jn 5:10f) Liberal theologians, when using the word “love”, lie because they deny the truth: There is salvation in no one else but in Jesus Christ. (cf. Acts 4:12).

Word of Life

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

Mark 11:22-23 (28/9/2025 – 12/10/2025)
