Ex-Patriarch Kirill promotes paganism

On 4 September 2013, a superior of a Buddhist Shaolin monastery from China visited the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow at the invitation of Kirill, the Head of the Russian Orhtodox Church (ROC).
The Head of the ROC called on the youth “to get acquainted with the practice of ascetic self-discipline of the Shaolin monks”.
His speech about the “power of the spirit” was open promotion of pagan spirituality.
Buddhist monks, who practise martial art, not only employ methods of fighting but also receive so-called energy through meditation, which means, in fact, that they open their mind to demonic powers. Martial art coupled with false spirituality is the contrary of the Christian way of following Christ. Pagan monks practising meditation foster selfishness, the opposite of charity, and turn into hypocritical cynics killing their conscience and ending up as cynical killers. The entire system is built on immense pride, self-worship. And this perversion is demonically disguised with the image of humility, obligingness, noble spirituality.
A Christian monk strives to follow Christ by self-denial, ruling his passions and pride.
Kirill hero-worships Buddhist monks and their pagan spirituality. He consciously keeps silent on true heroes and true warriors – the Christian saints.
Past generations of the Russian nation drew spiritual strength from the Bible and from the lives of the saints who were an example of true heroism to them.
Buddhist monks receive false power from demons through meditation. Christians receive power from the Saviour Jesus Christ Himself in prayer.
Modern youth faces pressure from the demoralized West through the mass media which promote decadent music, pseudo culture, sexual perversion, drugs, alcohol, cynicism. On the other hand, it is promotion of Oriental pagan meditations, especially Zen Buddhism and martial art related to it. To encourage young people, who are misled by the destructive influences from the West and occultism from the East, to get acquainted with the practices of false spirituality is a crime! Young people must be shown the way of the truth and salvation which is in Christ and His Gospel. Then they will become true fighters for moral and spiritual values, which will lead to the restoration of the individual, family and nation!
The Buddhist superior says cunningly: “We would like to learn from you.” He thus wants the Orthodox monasteries to open the way for them. This was done in the West and the fruit is now spiritual decay of the monastic and Christian life.
Christians in China are well aware of absolute incompatibility between true Christianity and pagan Buddhism coupled with martial art. The tragedy is that the Head of the ROC failed to show the Russian youth true Christianity as an assurance of a happy life on earth and after death. He boosts the pagan system which paves the way for both temporal and eternal death!
All earnest Orthodox Christians of Russia must do their utmost to achieve the removal of the apostate Kirill from office since he is a Judas bringing down a curse on the Church and nation. Kirill has the spirit of Antichrist. He must be replaced by a man who, by contrast, has the Spirit of Christ (cf. Rom 8:9).
