BCP’s commentary on a journalist’s interview with a homosexuality promoter, Vatican adviser, priest James Martin SJ (Part three: Teaching of the Church, Science and Pseudoscience)

In order to eliminate moral laws and the teaching of the Church, the Jesuit Martin in his interview appeals to science and declares hypocritically: “Why shouldn’t we open ourselves to what science can teach us?” However, we must distinguish: there is a science which seeks the truth, and there is a pseudoscience, an instrument of politics and ideology, which destroys the truth. Martin appeals to this pseudoscience.
Publicist: … a citation from a Church document: “In the face of various biblical and theological-moral interpretations that deny the moral evil of homosexual behaviour, the Church reminds us that her teaching is infallible.” Does it mean that we must understand that we reject science and the debate is closed down?
Martin: “Why shouldn’t we open ourselves to what science can teach us? Remember that theology is traditionally defined as ‘fides quaerens intellectum’, or ‘faith seeking understanding’. Faith has no reason to fear science.”
Response to the manipulative question and Martin’s manipulative answer: This is manipulation of science. We must know that we need to distinguish between corrupted pseudoscience and real science. For decades, LGBTI advocates have argued that people are born with homosexual orientation and only have to find out during their life what their actual orientation is, which may be different from their biological one. This pseudoscience has partially made its way even into the Catholic Church, where the chief forthright proponent of this line is Vatican’s media consultant, James Martin. As a world-renowned author of media conferences and books, he advocates a change in the Church’s teaching on homosexuality, stating that “the most renowned psychologists, psychiatrists, biologists and sociologists say that people are just born that way”. In contrast to it, the scientific journal Science published an extensive scientific study in September 2019 the conclusions of which clearly show that there is no so-called “gay gene” that would cause homosexual orientation in people. The study, which was also published, conducted a survey of 500,000 people, becoming thus the largest and most detailed study of its kind. “From a genetic point of view, there is no single element that could justify homosexual behaviour,” said geneticist Andrea Ganna of the Institute of Molecular Medicine Finland and author of the project. In this respect, the Canadian gender historian Christopher Dummitt said openly about his project in which he substantiated gender ideology: “Gender studies? I was wrong… I basically just made it up…” In the online magazine Quillette, he admitted that he had lied and falsified the results of his research. Nonetheless, gender expert chambers around the world work in their activities with the conclusions which he reached in his “research” and which he himself eventually described as false. Christopher Dummitt said, “To reiterate: The problem was, and is, that I was making it all up. I insisted that there was no such thing as sex. And I knew it. I just knew it.” Christopher Dummitt openly admits that he also manipulated the numbers of people surveyed. His conclusions were drawn from only five cases.
After 20 years of fraudulent studies, Dummitt regrets his actions and simply says, “Mea culpa… I basically just made it up…” and adds, “I wasn’t alone”. The Jesuit Martin appeals to similar scientific research, but unlike Dummit he does not have the humility to admit that all his homosexual propaganda activities in the Church are based on deception.
Martin’s lies about the so-called scientific validation of homosexuality are refuted by material from the 11th National Conference of the Association of Christian Healthcare Professionals on Ethical Problems in Medicine, Prague, 21-22 October 2000, entitled “Homosexuality: A Normal Variant of Human Behaviour?” We quote:
A feature of homosexuality is a wide variety of other sexual practices, some of which can lead to serious health consequences. As for sexual behaviour in society in general, when one social taboo is broken the others fall easily and quickly.
Homosexual activists try to gather as much evidence as possible to prove that they were born this way and that this fact must be accepted and lived up to. Nearly 80-year-long observations have shown that the family environment plays a critical role in the development of homosexuality.
Not just a simple choice, but a compulsive disorder
Of all the biological instincts, sexual instinct is most associated with the feeling of pleasure. The experience of pleasure creates a strong impetus for shaping one’s behaviour. If biological instincts, and especially sexual ones, are not at least partially regulated and placed under the control of civilizing influences of culture and will, the compulsion to satisfy them immediately becomes deeply rooted in the neural network of the brain. The world of sexual fantasies is then particularly difficult to erase. For this reason, unregulated sexual tendencies become habits, then compulsions, and finally something barely distinguishable from addictions.
Facts that prove homosexual behaviour to be a compulsive disorder include extremely high promiscuity typical of homosexual relationships and the intertwining of homosexual lifestyles with other addictions, such as alcoholism or hard drug abuse.
Homosexual activists and the political agenda
Questions may arise as to why the above mentioned information is not generally accepted today. Why do experts in psychiatry and sexology continue to cite works that are faulty not only in terms of methodology but also in terms of interpretation of results? Why are homosexuals advised to accept their so-called normal behaviour and to bring their intimate lives into harmony with their inclination? Let us look briefly at the history.
Gay activists assumed that if they were successful in redefining homosexuality, the rest of the society would adopt this new understanding very soon because Americans have become a nation dependent on experts. That was why they focused their attack on the American Psychiatric Association (APA). Back in 1963, the Public Health Committee of the New York Academy of Medicine reported that “homosexuality is indeed an illness”. Just ten years later – with no significant new scientific evidence – the homosexual activists’ argument became the new standard within psychiatry. In 1973, the APA voted to strike homosexuality from the officially approved list of psychiatric illnesses. The so-called research did not begin until homosexuality was removed from the list and it was out of the question to change anything about it anymore. The APA vote to normalize homosexuality was driven by politics, not science. Some time earlier, on 3 May 1971, the protesting homosexual activists broke into a meeting of distinguished members of the profession, grabbed the microphone and “declared war on psychiatry” because, as they said, “psychiatry has waged a relentless war of extermination against us”.
When the APA’s Committee on Nomenclature met formally to consider the issue in 1973, the outcome had already been arranged behind closed doors. A formal vote was held according to the planned scenario. Homosexual activists responded swiftly and effectively. They drafted a letter beforehand and sent it to the over 30,000 members of the APA. They bullied them to “vote for the nomenclature change”. Four years later, the results of a survey among psychiatrists showed that 69% of them disagreed with the previously manipulated vote and still considered homosexuality a disorder. Bayer remarks: “The result was not a conclusion based upon an approximation of the scientific truth as dictated by reason, but was instead an action demanded by the ideological temper of the times.”
Dr. Satinover writes: “All of these changes in the definition and classification of homosexuality have occurred in a scientific vacuum.” Many of today’s research activities in this field have a predetermined result. It should be noted that “this has opened psychiatry to be the first among the professions to be politically manipulated,” writes Dr. Satinover.
Here we can see that the so-called renowned scientists, to whom Martin refers, are those who have already accepted false foundations pushed through by a vigorous political scene. This is not about science, but about politics and ideology. Today everyone can see that homosexuality is purposefully promoted with the aim of demoralizing society, destroying the institution of the family and, ultimately, achieving the reduction of humanity. The Jesuit Martin knows this well, and yet he cynically lies to people’s faces. He is silent about the essential purposes of this homosexual ideology coupled with gender ideology and the terror of so-called sex education, which is in fact demoralization of children. The Jesuit Martin is an effective instrument of the invalid Pope Bergoglio who legalizes homosexuality in the Church. This is a rebellion against God and against divine, moral and natural laws. This is visible evidence that Bergoglio is not a valid Pope, but a traitor and enemy of Christ and the Church. Among those who are in unity with him is also Archbp Kondrusiewicz who is seeking to overthrow the legitimate Government in Belarus and to establish a homodictatorship headed by women who either publicly promote homosexuality or have so far been diplomatically silent on the subject. Is the Archbishop aware of the consequences of his crime for innocent and sincere Christians and people of good will in Belarus? If only this hierarch had at least as much humility as the Canadian historian Ch. Dummitt who said Mea culpa! and admitted his fraud: I was wrong. I basically just made it all up! If only the Jesuit Martin and pseudo Pope Francis Bergoglio had so much humility as to unmask and acknowledge the true intention of homosexual propaganda in the Church. So far they still persist in cynical obstinacy and lies. They refuse to see the terrible consequences for nations and for souls that are cast into eternal damnation by their demonic ideology. Will these seducers and deceivers in church vestments turn from the lies to the truth?
