Is Allah and the Christian God one and the same?

The present time witnesses mass Islamization of Europe, which is promoted by the USA in cooperation with the Vatican. On 6 September 2015, pseudo Pope Francis launched a programme of destruction of Christianity and European civilization. He demands that every parish, every monastery and every sanctuary throughout Europe should host a so-called Muslim family. This is a betrayal of the faith and violation of the sovereignty of individual European states. The fruit of Francis’ “mercy” shall be nationwide Islamization of Europe through suicidal Catholics.
A synod held at Constantinople in 1180 adopted a formula holding that Allah is not the God of the Bible. The synod also adopted the formula of solemn abjuration of the faith in Allah and his prophet Muhammad which was exacted from Muslim converts to Christianity before receiving the sacrament of Baptism. This was also the practice of the Orthodox Church in Russia, where Muslim minorities existed.
The Byzantine apologists of the Christian faith against Islam were e.g.: St John Damascene; Bartholomew of Edessa; Gennadius, Patriarch of Constantinople; the Latin apologists: St Thomas Aquinas; Peter of Cluny; Raymond Lull; Dominican friar Richard; John of Torquemada.
An appeal to Catholics – Part three: Metastrophein /a change of lifestyle/
Repentance – metanoia – means a change of thinking and metastrophein a change of lifestyle.

ad 1) Daily tithe of time to God
What was the sense of material tithes? Making these offerings, man expressed his dependence on and gratitude to God. The secularized world today boycotts the majesty of God, the meaning of life and the reality of eternity. A tithe of time is 2 hours and 24 minutes. An instrument of the spirit of lies in the world is mass media and in the Church it is the heresies of HCT and reverence for paganism and its demons which results in tolerance to amorality. All this is a betrayal of God! Over the last half century, particularly the influence of television and the adoption of the spirit of the world – secularization – caused spiritual schizophrenia among Catholics. Jesus’ words are always true: “Seek first the kingdom of God.” (Mt 6:33) A hardy life of prayer is the way of salvation. Academic Christianity with dead theories and without prayer is the way to perdition. Many Christians received Christ as their Saviour and Lord, as well as the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
A letter of thanks to Hungary
The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate hereby addresses the Hungarian nation – all sectors of society, the political government, the religious leaders, the men and women, the youth. Above all, on behalf of the Patriarchate and on behalf of all sincere Christians, we thank the representatives of the government for:
1) rejecting gender perversion and same-sex marriage, and acknowledging in the Constitution marriage as the union of one man and one woman, thus preserving the Christian Europe tradition;
2) legalizing a ban on Sunday trading in supermarkets, thus preventing the desecration of a holy day and consequently destabilization of the family;
3) effective resistance of the government and the people to the Islamization of the nation promoted by US globalists. Hungary has thus become an example to others, mainly the Slovak and Czech Republics.
“Molotov cocktails” – the fruits of religious hatred on the part of UGCC hierarchy
The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in their churches constantly slander the orthodox Greek Catholic Church and incite religious hatred. As a result, it was not the first time that terrorists hired by them attacked the Monastery of the Sisters of St Elijah the Prophet in Bryukhovychi.
On the night of the 28/29th September, the Sisters kept vigil: they prayed in the chapel for our afflicted nation, for God’s mercy on Ukraine. Suddenly at half past two a.m., someone threw large stones through the window followed by three “Molotov cocktails”. A fire started and one could not see anything because of black smoke. The Sisters’ eyes were stinging from the toxic smoke, they could hardly breathe. One of the Sisters fainted, so the other Sister pulled her out of the flames into the corridor. The Sisters tried to extinguish the fire with water but it did not help. Everything was in flames; but the fire did not dare to touch the altar and the tabernacle. The following “cocktails” flew into the next room where the window caught fire, and then into another three rooms where some of the Sisters were wounded by pieces of broken glass (18 cocktails altogether). The police who arrived on the scene of crime called an ambulance for the injured Sisters, and the fire brigade was called out to the fire.
Message to the Slovak people

“Let us stop them, brothers… The Slovaks will revive!”
Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic are under strong pressure from Brussels and USA. The purpose is destruction of the nation and Christianity by means of Islamization. No Catholic believer and no citizen of Slovakia can remain indifferent in this situation.
What about the Vatican? It has programmed nationwide Islamization. What is the response of the KBS (Conference of Bishops of Slovakia)? They are silent. Cardinal Ratzinger (Benedict XVI) criticized the Bishops’ Conference in Germany who were silent when Fascism started its destructive work. Being Prefect of the Congregation, he criticized the Bishops’ Conferences the more so because they are not biblically founded. He said: “Every bishop is a shepherd in his own diocese and is fully answerable for it to God!” The Cardinal criticized this institution for relieving the bishops of responsibility and, moreover, for its manipulative influence: “If a bishop was to take full responsibility on his own shoulders, he would never make such decisions as he makes under the influence of the Episcopal conference!”

The whole chapter 21, the last one in the Gospel of the Apostle John, describes the encounter of the risen Christ with the apostles. The event took place in Galilee, and it was the third time that the apostles encountered the risen Christ. There were seven of the apostles present, among them were Peter and John. Jesus spoke above all with Peter. He asked Peter three times if he loved Him. In Greek, the word “love” is expressed by terms “agape” and “philia”. Agape is selfless love, the love of God towards us and the love which He wants us to show towards Him. Philia is human love – between parents and children, or love for the nation… Love between a man and a woman is expressed in Greek by the term “eros”. Unfortunately, the Germanic and Slavonic languages have only one term “love” for all these meanings. At the present time, when the world is flooded by a wave of sexual impurity and perversion, one needs to discern true values and to call them by their proper names. The term denoting selfless and self-sacrificing love is “agape”. The contrary of love is self-love, egoism.

The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate has written the following on the issue of Islamization:

Every normal person knows that the situation that has arisen is not about mercy towards refugees but rather about cleverly planned Islamization of the Czech nation. Natural and justified fear has matured into repeated demonstrations. What are the servants of the Church doing at this decisive moment? They are doing the same as some traitorous politicians: they are digging a grave for the Czechs. Today, the Catholic hierarchy becomes an instrument of self-destruction of Christianity and the opium of the Czech people! They are in unity of spirit with the globalization elite and faithfully serve them. Therefore, they must repent!
Anamnesis, Epiclesis
Anamnesis
The anamnesis recalls only briefly certain major events of the life of Christ which concern every one of us. The words of institution are associated with the anamnesis: “This is My Blood…which is shed for you and for all for the forgiveness of sins. Remembering, therefore, this salutary command: Do this in remembrance of Me, and all that was done in our behalf: the cross… the resurrection… the second coming.”
Remembering (Gr. anamnein) what? The salutary command – first, the words of institution and second, “all that was done in our behalf”, beginning with the cross and ending with the second coming of Christ (anamnesis). This was done in our behalf and we must remember this, bear it in mind. Our faith must be focused on this and put into practice what Jesus has already done in our behalf. Here it would be appropriate, in accordance with the Scripture, to add the word “together” (at least in your mind): crucified together, buried together, raised together… (Gal 2:20; Col 2:12). To be able to put it into practice either in the liturgy or in our life, we need the Holy Spirit to descend not only on the gifts but on us too!
A reform of the temple
We present a proposal of a reform of a post-conciliar temple according to the biblical model.
The Council enabled a radical “reform”: It removed the altar-rails which emphasized the sacredness of the place. In most cases, the tabernacle was transferred to the side chapel. An empty altar thus became the centre, with a seat for “the president of the liturgical assembly” behind it. Instead of the Eucharistic Christ it is now the priest, facing the believers, who became the centre of attention during the Mass. This liturgical “reform” affected neither the Orthodox Church nor the Eastern Catholic Churches. Here the sacredness of the place is emphasized not by the altar-rails only but by an iconostasis. The Greeks have a simple iconostasis: mostly composed of four holy images which separate the presbytery from the nave. The Slavs of the Eastern rite have an iconostasis consisting of many images. We propose:

Saint Basil calls at a time when the Church is being destroyed from within by the Arian heresy: “…All intelligence of those who are learned in word is filled with delusion of false or half-true assertions like an eye filled with dust.”… “All these people are struck by an incurable epidemic of crazy love for fame, so everyone wants to be higher than the other, but at the same time, in fact, their ship is sinking to terrible depths.”… “Every borderline (dogma) set by the Fathers of the Church has been moved, every foundation, every stronghold of a sound view of the true faith has been shaken… unless our enemy attacks us first, then a friend by our side will hurt us…” Such is the situation even today but many cannot see it any more – they have become spiritually blind!
Will the Czech and Slovak bishops repent?
“Unless you repent, you will all perish!” (Lk 13:3)
The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate categorically condemns the Pope’s destructive appeal to the nations of Europe dated 6 September 2015 (see Response to the appeal of pseudo Pope Francis http://vkpatriarhat.org/en/?p=11460).
The Patriarchate hereby appeals to every Czech and Slovak bishop personally.
Dear Czech and Slovak bishops!
What it means to put into practice the Pope’s appeal is clear to every ordinary citizen of the Czech and Slovak Republics. It means suicide of Christianity and Christian nations which are located in the heart of Europe. May the attitude of the bishops of Hungary be an example to You:
Bishop Laszlo Kiss-Rigo openly protested against the Pope’s appeal: “The Pope doesn’t know the situation! Most of the refugees behave in a way that is very arrogant and cynical. They have refused food. They’re not refugees. This is an invasion. They come here with cries of ‘Allahu Akbar’. They want to take over.”
ONE HOUR WITH JESUS (CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER)
“Could you not watch with Me one hour (daily)? Watch and pray.” (Mt 26:40f) Jesus is calling, calling with all His heart! And still, no one has lifted up his voice so often and so many times in vain as Jesus Christ. No call has been so little understood – and this has been even by those who knew Jesus as their Saviour and Lord.
Here we come across the greatest contradiction, namely that people though calling Jesus their Lord do not follow Him. How to understand this? The way of following Jesus may be opened only with one key, with the key of pure love. There is no other key. Therefore the Lord also says that by keeping the First Commandment: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart”, one is given the key to all righteous deeds.
The way of following our Lord and perseverance is not possible without love which can be best realized in a contemplative prayer. At least one hour (daily) with Jesus (cf. Mt 26:40).
