We need the full armour of God

If our mind is not concentrated in the prayer spiritual struggle, and we are absorbed in our thoughts and absent-minded, demons laugh. If we struggle with distraction and try to abide in the particular truths of the Word of God at least to some extent, the prayer is of some – albeit very minimal – benefit. God does accept our good will. Prayer is of the greatest benefit when we have the full armour of God and we know which Bible verse to use as the sword of the Spirit – the Word of God spoken in the Spirit and at the right time – the word of prophecy – rather than the letter of Scripture or a phrase. The spirits of darkness in the heavenly realm – kosmokratoras – cannot be fought against by firing in the air or by using guns, rockets or atomic weapons. That is child’s play to them. They fight against human souls through occultism, magic, deceit, by leading them into a false faith in pagan pseudo spirituality… Their successful servants are mainly Freemasons. Only we Christians are unaware that a handful of people are enough to succeed in a fight if they have absolutely the best spiritual technology. Through the obedience of faith in union with Jesus crucified the greatest power – the almighty power of God – works through us. The condition is to be in the will of God, in the presence of God. Jesus says: “Whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.” This promise is repeated in the Gospel in several variants. For example: “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” But the prerequisite is that we should be able to forgive each other, nourish no envy or have no rivalry with anyone, because we will not be in unity, Jesus will not be in our midst and the enemy of God will laugh at us. However, since our old corrupt nature automatically produces all these sins, it is very important that our communities should have the spirit of repentance. Then we will be in true unity with Jesus as well as with one another, and the enemy will be powerless.
