At its session on 1 May 2011, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Italy issued a document N. 2011/XX under the title “Blessing of hetero- and homosexual couples in non-traditional communion of life”. Behind this document is not the Spirit of Christ (Rom 8:9) but the spirit of antichrist. It denies the authority of God and His laws. The authors have thus joined three religious organizations which are no longer Christian Churches but have become the harlot of antichrist and the spiritual Babylon. Your apostatical Church ranks among them.

Marriage is a sacrament, but cohabitation of two men or two women is an abomination.

Members of the Bishops’ Conference of USA

Dear Bishops of USA,

we live in a time about which we can say that it is the time of antichrist. One purposefully uses positive terms which cover the exact opposite. In the Church, the spirit of antichrist has taken flesh through historical-critical theology which on the one hand speaks loftily about the need to know and understand the essence of the Holy Scripture and on the other has caused the reverse – denial of the Word of God as the Word of God. This ideology has denied the inspiration of the Holy Scripture, sin, the unicity of salvation obtained through Christ’s death on Golgotha, Resurrection of Christ and all the miracles.

This spirit of antichrist has also manifested itself in so-called reverence for pagan demons (Vatican II, Nostra aetate and the spirit of Assisi 1986-2011). On April 5, 2010 the Bishops’ Synod of the UOGCC appealed to You to confess the true faith and to renounce the current spirit of apostasy which destroys Christianity at the root.

To U.S. President and Congress

The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate hereby announces to the U.S. President and Congress:

A) By reason of official approval of homosexuality the following Churches have excluded themselves from the Christian Churches:

– Presbyterian Church (USA)

– United Church of Christ

– Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

– Episcopal Church of the USA

– The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

– The Alliance of Baptists

Homosexuality is a sin and abomination. These Churches no longer call a sin a sin and an abomination an abomination. Breaking God’s laws and denying the authority of God, they have excluded themselves from the Church of Christ and fallen under God’s curse acc. Gal 1:8-9. They are no Christians any more, although they deceive the public that they are. Casting aside the sixth and ninth Commandments of the Decalogue by so-called tolerance of the rights of sexual minorities, they also cast aside the sin of marital infidelity as well as all other sins like fornication, adultery or sexual perversion. Even pedophilia, which is closely connected with homosexuality, is no longer regarded by them as a sin. Consequently, one need no longer observe the fifth Commandment “You shall not kill!” either. The killing of a child in the mother’s womb is called to be a right of a woman and a mere surgical procedure. Suicide under the term ‘euthanasia’, which is a way to hell, is likewise presented as a human right. In essence, they have cast aside all sins and hence rejected all God’s Commandments and the unicity of salvation in Jesus Christ. Without this foundation whole Christianity falls.

Dear representatives of the society,

we have to admit that You perform great mission on the territories that have fallen away from Christianity. If Your mission was really in the Spirit of God and if it assured salvation to every individual, we would congratulate You.

However, we realize with pain that although You claim to study the entire Holy Scripture, the essence of the Holy Scripture, which is centered on the person of our Savior Jesus Christ, has been concealed from You up to this day.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (Jn 1:1) “And the Word (Christ) became flesh and dwelt among us.” (v.14a) “He (Jesus) is the only begotten Son of the Father.” (v.14b) We who received Christ are adopted sons of God: “As many as received Him (Jesus), He gave them power to become the sons of God, to them that believe in His name (Jehoshua).” (v.12)

Do You believe in His name – Jesus – Jehoshua? Did You receive Jesus as Your personal Savior? Did You thus become a son of God?

“He who has the Son has eternal life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (1Jn 5:11-12) Do You have eternal life or not?

Dear Church representatives,

we have been informed that on 10 May 2011 You adopted constitutional amendments in Your Church and thus enabled active homosexuals and lesbians to be ordained pastors, elders and deacons. This step of public apostasy was preceded by a discussion lasting 33 years.

The very discussion and voting as to whether homosexuality is a sin and an abomination or not is a betrayal of Christ and His Gospel. The position of God’s Word on this abomination is unequivocal, diametrically different from Yours.

At its session on 14 May 2011, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Italy issued a document N. 2011/XX entitled “Blessing of hetero- and homosexual couples in non-traditional communion of life”. This document denies the authority of God’s Word and God’s commandments.

Quotation: “A union of homosexuals, if it is voluntary, permanent, responsible … gains equality … with marriage.”

This statement is absurd, cancels the basic moral values and basic categories of distinction between good and evil. Never in the history of mankind, in no culture and in no society has a homosexual union been regarded as a marriage. “God made them male and female… For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Mt 19:4-6) So the marriage of one man and one woman is a divine and natural institution.

a) Reflection on God’s Word:

“There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death. And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. Then Jesus said: ‘Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do!’” (Lk 23:32-34)

Death by crucifixion was the most cruel and disgraceful punishment possible. When they had arrived at the site, Simon of Cyrene was ordered to place the cross he had carried on the ground. Jesus was quickly thrown backward, with His shoulders against the wood. The soldier – executioner – felt for the depression at the front of the wrist and drove a heavy, square wrought-iron nail through it and deep into the wood. The nail cut through the skin and went through the place where the nerve runs which controls much of the function and sensation from the hand.

Venerable Patriarch,

we are sending You our letter which deals with an event which took place in Romania.

In 2005, Romanian Orthodox monastery in Tanacu was visited by 23-year-old Maricica Irina Cornici. Maricica grew up in an orphanage in Arad. She suffered from severe schizophrenia. Since she found refuge in the monastery, she asked the sisters to let her stay there.

She soon began to manifest strong psychic disturbances through which can easily work demonic forces. In the third month of her stay in the monastery the fits culminated to such a degree that they were accompanied by aggressive states, so not only her own life but also life of other sisters was in danger. That was why the sisters called their spiritual father and asked him to help her by means of prayer of liberation – an exorcism. She had to be bound in order not to endanger herself or others. Likewise in every psychiatric hospital an aggressive and dangerous individual, who threatens his surroundings, is bound immediately.

Second appeal to the Russian nation (29.6.2011)

Dear Christians and people of good will in Russia,

we live in a time of a global spiritual revolution. The well-established moral and spiritual principles that make the man, call good good and evil evil are being changed. It is systematic demoralization and even demonization of youth and all population, which leads to gradual moral, spiritual and physical genocide. Nearly 100 years ago, there was a prophetic word given in Fatima through the Mother of God concerning Russia: “If My requests are heeded, Russia will be converted and there will be peace.” (13th June 1917) In the Gospel, Jesus invites all individuals and entire nations: “Repent (change your thinking) and believe in the Gospel.” (Mk 1:15) Greek word metanoia means a change of thinking, which is the essence of repentance. “Unless you repent, you will all perish.” (Lk 13:1) Repentance has its basis in the change of thinking and is completed by adoption of a healthy lifestyle. Today, thinking is based on lie and egoism. There is a consumer lifestyle based on deceptive pleasure which leads to the loss of health, mental disturbances and shortens one’s life.

a) Reflection on God’s Word:

“One of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying: ‘If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.’ But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying: ‘Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.’ Then he said to Jesus: ‘Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.’ And Jesus said to him: ‘Amen, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.’” (Lk 23:39-43)

“Jesus…”, the criminal fastens his eyes on Jesus’ tortured face wet with blood: a wound caused by a stroke of a stick across the nose and the right cheek, grazes on the eyelids and eyebrows, a swelling on the cheek, nosebleed, bruises and puncture wounds caused by thorns. The wounds on His hands and feet are bleeding. The criminal hears the mockery and blasphemy by the soldiers as well as by the other criminal hanging on the cross. He can hear the blasphemy by the arrogant hierarchy. He, however, aware of his own sin, looks into Jesus’ eyes, believes in Him and utters with faith: “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” He thus confesses before all that Jesus is really the Son of God who forgives sins and makes us partakers of the kingdom of God. It is a glorious and public confession of Jesus before His enemies taunting Him.

a) Reflection on God’s Word:

“Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother… When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother: ‘Woman, behold, your son!’ Then He said to the disciple: ‘Behold, your mother!’ And from that hour the disciple received her into himself.” (Jn 19:25-27)

“Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother…” She sees Him crucified, tortured, His whole body covered in wounds. The crown of thorns in particular causes Him excruciating pain. Pressed into His head, the sharp thorns pierce the scalp and cause copious bleeding. She saw Him fall down on His face several times under the burden of the cross, the falls leaving sore bruises on His knees. When she met Him there, carrying His cross, it was just a split second, and now she is standing here. Jesus sees her again. He is looking at her – Mary is standing here in perfect spiritual unity, crucified together with Him. Standing beside her is the disciple John. When Jesus saw him, He said to His mother: “Woman, behold, your son.” The disciple cannot fully understand how deeply the mystery of his new birth is being accomplished. He is looking at Jesus, for whom he has forsaken all, and Jesus’ word penetrates the innermost of his heart. Here, into his heart, he spiritually receives the mother of Jesus, who has now become his mother too.
