An appeal for forgiveness (+ video)
Lvov (Ukraine), 6 February 2014
On 4 February 2014, the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate and the Bishops’ Synod of the UO GCC called for prayer mobilization. Today they call for forgiveness.
In the past, the Ukrainian people suffered from Poles, Austrians, Russians and Germans. In the 20th century, they were struck by famine and went through two world wars.
In the 1990s, Ukraine achieved independence. Patriotism founded on hatred and unforgivingness was false. Galicians use a derisive nickname “Moskali” or “Muscovites” for eastern Ukrainians and eastern Ukrainians use “Banderivtsi” or “fascist bandits” for Galicians.
The slogan “Death to enemies!” provokes division of the nation and a fratricidal war. The end will be no “Glory to Ukraine!” but shame and suicide through gender homosexuality.
The aim of the globalists is to destroy Christianity in Ukraine, to use the Euromaidan for the purpose of introducing homosexuality, child stealing, euthanasia and immorality, and ultimately to establish the rule of the Antichrist.
Who is most to blame for hatred and division in the nation today is the Church hierarchy who have neglected to preach the living Christ and sincere repentance to the people of Ukraine! Now they are promoting EuroSodom.
The reality which concerns every man is that sooner or later we all shall die! After death we will stand before the judgment seat of God and give an account for all evil and injustice done to our neighbours. Another reality is that the wages of unforgiven sin is eternal death in hell.
What is the solution while you are still alive? Repentance!
The first thing you are to realize: God forgives.
What does Jesus want the Ukrainian people to do? He Himself gives the answer: “Repent, and believe in the Gospel.” (Mk 1:15) “Unless you repent, you will all perish.” (Lk 13:3)
Realize in prayer that God sees you and your sins. In this light, confess your sins before God and before yourself. Jesus paid for your sins on the cross. Your sins are forgiven you through your faith in Jesus.
The second thing you are to realize: You must forgive.
Jesus emphasizes: “If you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Mt 6:15) You confessed your sins. Admit that you have done harm to other people too. In the light of the truth you should, as a matter of course, forgive those who have done harm to you. This is the fruit of true repentance: God forgives you and you forgive your neighbour.
AN APPEAL
These days, God wants to raise Ukraine to life through repentance! The condition of repentance is to renounce the spirit of the EuroMaidan. To renounce the spirit of hatred and unforgivingness in relation to the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine and the Russian nation. Similarly, eastern Ukrainians must renounce the spirit of hatred and unwillingness to forgive in relation to Galicians. Let everyone do so in the presence of one witness at least. Those who took active part in the EuroMaidan should do so in Kiev and descend into the Dnieper in token of the baptism of repentance after the example of the baptism of John in the Jordan. The second condition set by God today is that every Ukrainian should spend one hour in prayer with God every day. Only through repentance and forgiveness will God save the Ukrainian nation from a civil war, the loss of independence and planned autogenocide!
For God and for Ukraine!
