Reflection on Rom 12:2
“Do not conform yourselves to this age… that you may
discern what is the will of God.”
Today we are exposed to extremely strong pressure from the darkness of this age – the spirit of the world, which stands in fierce opposition to God. It is leading not only Christians, but all of humanity, into total moral collapse. A devilishly engineered system spews out lies of every kind, above all through mass media. It exploits the internet and smartphones to literally brainwash people and impose unnatural – even perverse – principles. It is almost incomprehensible that humanity accepts and embraces this spiritual suicide, which leads not only to temporal death, but also to eternal death. A fierce spiritual battle for the salvation of our souls is raging. We must stand against the spirit of this world and accept the protection given by God’s laws. The official Catholic Church, which has been transformed into a New Age anti-church, not only no longer accepts them, but actively promotes the exact opposite.
God’s laws protect us from the spiritual infection and poison that we are literally breathing in today. Therefore, we must regard God’s word as a protective remedy. We need to set aside a precise time for prayer – at least one hour each day, plus seven prayer stops throughout the day. It is also necessary to incorporate into our lives the radical observance of Sunday, the day of Christ’s Resurrection. It is here that the domestic church is formed, with the father as its head. His task is to protect his children and his wife from the world’s spiritual infection. A man must learn to be the head of the family in order to guide it wisely. For this, he urgently needs a solid spiritual foundation – that is, a brotherly fellowship.
On Sundays, fulfilling one’s religious duty merely by attending Mass is not enough. Furthermore, if someone attends Mass where the antipope Leo Prevost – successor to the arch-heretic Bergoglio and promoter of the so-called synodal path with its sodomite anti-gospel – is mentioned, they should be aware that such liturgies, where the name of the pseudo pope is publicly said, are invalid. Catholics are under no obligation to participate in these pseudo-liturgies, which are mere spectacle and a ploy to lure the masses of uninformed Catholics onto the path of rebellion against God, the path to eternal damnation.
Our faithful are under the authority of the Byzantine Patriarchate and also the bishops of the synod of the Orthodox Catholic Church (OCC), and they attend valid holy liturgies. But even that is not enough to truly keep the Lord’s Day holy. A group of 5-7 men should meet on Sundays for a brotherly fellowship and spend about two hours talking together and, if needed, praying for one another. In their shared conversation, they can discuss how to be the head of the family, how to protect their wife and children from the “infection” of this world that works intensely for six days a week – and for many even on Sunday if they remain dependent on smartphones or the internet. In essence, on the day of the Resurrection the internet should be set aside; the phone should be used only when necessary, for example in case of sudden illness. One should not seek out information about what to buy or sell, and certainly not search for harmful content.
Our Lady of Fatima said: “If Russia is converted, there will be no global catastrophe.” How is this conversion to happen? Russia must also begin to keep holy the Day of Christ’s Resurrection. In Russia, the largest Church is the Orthodox Church. Therefore, it is the Orthodox bishops, priests, and monks who must first undergo conversion. Then the faithful will follow. This is a task that lies before the Russian nation, alongside other significant political measures needed to curb the influence of the ravening apocalyptic beast that has already programmed in every detail the self-destruction of Russia, America and seven billion people in pursuit of the so-called ‘golden billion’. Therefore, we should remember in a brief prayer both the conversion of Russia and our own personal conversion. This means having the courage for radical humility, not taking offence when someone points out our faults or highlights our negative character traits. We must learn to grow in humility, and start with ourselves. Only through humility can we overcome the devil; otherwise, we cannot prevail. The gift of humility must be sought in prayer and practised with patience – that is, through self-discipline and self-denial. This is the way Jesus taught us: “Learn from Me, for I am humble in heart…”
Obedience to God
If you refuse to obey God in what He has already shown you, why should God give you further direction? Obedience to the known will of God is important in receiving further guidance.
- How do you gain an understanding of God’s will?
Psalm 37:31
Psalm 119:105.130
- What other action can you take to learn God’s will?
Psalm 143:8
James 1:5
- Psalm 25:4-5 is a prayer of David concerning God’s direction for his life. Say this prayer in your own words, as a prayer of your own heart!
- What conditions are given in Romans 12:1-2 for finding God’s will?
- Whose guidance have you been promised as you seek direction from God? John 16:13
Question for reflection
Read Psalm 27:14 and Isaiah 30:18. How does “waiting on the Lord” (and trusting in Him) relate to knowing God’s will? How do you do it?
