The essence of Christianity

We need to get at the root of Christianity. The essence of Christianity is our communion with Jesus, Jesus crucified and risen. This must not be just an empty phrase. We need to live a life of repentance and true following of Christ in a small house Church, in a sound cell of a biblical and prayer community under the guidance of the prophetic voice of a pastor or teacher. Moreover, we must be prepared for persecution. A fight with the spirit of antichrist is going on and destroying the Church little by little. It was our duty to stand against this whole system. It will seek to attack and destroy us. Nevertheless, God has His plans, and if we remain faithful to God, even at the cost of our life, God will give a great blessing. We don’t want to be traitors of Christ, we don’t want any other teaching besides the teaching of the apostles. This is the sound teaching – no fanaticism but, on the other hand, no cowardice. We need to be brave and prudent at the same time. Fanaticism and heroism are close in meaning, and so are cowardice and prudence – both a coward and a prudent man think hard lest they should do something foolish, but there is a great difference between them. A prudent man relies on God, not only on rational thoughts. He listens to what God says. A brave man likewise relies on God, whereas a fanatic relies just on his heroism, his character, and fights against all. We must not fight against all people but against all evil and against all lies. We must discern between heroism and fanaticism.
