An appeal to Russian monasteries
Lvov (Ukraine), 23 June 2013
Let the Russian monasteries receive the Spirit of prophecy!
The spirit of antichrist and the forces of darkness are destroying all moral and spiritual values, above all seeking to destroy the Church of Christ. But the Word of God says: “The gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Mt 16:25) These destructive forces are both external and internal, the latter being especially heresies and syncretism. Heresies destroy the Gospel, syncretism opens the door to the spirit of paganism. In the Western Church, Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI completed the process of apostasy and brought down a curse on the Catholic Church. The Holy Spirit has been driven out. The consequence of the preaching of an antigospel based on heresies is God’s anathema – curse acc. Gal 1:8-9. The antigospel of so-called historical-critical (heretical) theology denies the redemptive death of Christ on the cross, His historical and real resurrection as well divine inspiration of the Scriptures, i.e. the essence of the Gospel. The historical-heretical method with the spirit of atheism started to question the Divinity of Christ and thus paved the way for the spirit of paganism – the spirit of Assisi. Jesus Christ, true God and Saviour, was placed on the same level as Buddha, Krishna, Dalai Lama or other so-called avatars. And this is the supreme heresy! Syncretism opened the Church to the spirit of paganism – the spirit of antichrist and Satanism. The fruit of the curse for the apostasy of the hierarchy is paedophilia, homosexuality and other perversions. This curse has taken flesh in gender ideology. It denies the fact that people are born men or women. It spreads an absurd theory that people become men or women on the basis of their free choice. And then they are psychologically manipulated into undergoing a sex-change operation. Gender schizophrenia is promoted primarily by the UN, UNICEF, EU… It is a sign of loss of reason and moral values.
Gender ideology is connected with the juvenile justice system which steals children from happy families which are consequently demoralized and demonized. It turns its victims into janissaries who will take revenge on the contemporary society, in other words biorobots and murderers who will be used as media of a holocaust programme. The whole neofascist system is based on professional demagogy and lies. Positive terms are used as a guise for the most atrocious crimes against humanity. Within this system, children are even sold for organs. The Western society has opened to perversion and Satanism.
The modern fight uses no tanks; it is neither chemical nor biological warfare but psychological and spiritual one. It is a great tragedy that the Church has no defenders who would fight against the spirit of antichrist and against programmed satanization of the European and American continent which used to be Christian. This satanization is associated with globalization and so-called reduction of mankind. The aim is annihilation of about 90% of the world’s population.
Dear monks, Jesus Christ called you to leave the world and to follow Him. So you joined a monastery. The soul of every monk, just like the soul of every man, goes through a spiritual fight. It is a fight with our corrupt nature – a fight with self-deceit, pride and lusts. God is seeking at this time holy monks ready to fight for God’s laws. The Book of the Maccabees sets an example.
It depicts a spiritual fight against pagan globalization which established antilaws and destroyed the faith and tradition of the fathers. The Maccabees fought for the maintenance of God’s laws. In their fight, they put their trust in God’s omnipotence. The picture of this fight is extremely topical for the present time when the Lisbon Treaty has abolished the Decalogue as the foundation of European civilization and culture. The fight of the Maccabees was not only physical but also spiritual (see 1Mac 4:8.30-31).
Pentecost
Today, on the day of Pentecost, may the Spirit of God, the Spirit of truth, descend on you and the words of Jesus be fulfilled in your life: “When the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you shall be My ‘martyres’ (i.e. witnesses, martyrs).” (Acts 1:8) God is seeking obedient monks through whom He can save the Russian nation. Every monastery needs to be renewed in the Spirit ever anew. The essential condition is true repentance. On the day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter said to the men who gathered: “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for all who are far off.” (cf. Acts 2:36f) God’s Word speaks about the baptism with the Holy Spirit (Jn 1:33; Acts 2:1f), about prayer in other tongues and about the gift of prophecy (1Cor 14:1f). The Spirit of God through the Apostle Peter says even to you: “The promise of the Scripture is for you too.” (Acts 2:39) The condition for the fulfillment of this promise is true repentance. One receives the light and strength to repent in true prayer. True prayer unites a monk to Christ and transforms him into Christ. The Apostles said: “We will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” (Acts 6:4) There must also be monasteries where monks will devote themselves exclusively to prayer and to God’s Word. But the condition is radical dissociation from the heresies of the historical method. Otherwise there is a danger that a heretic will exploit the conditions of the monastery and make it a factory for the fabrication of heresies.
If a monk is to become a true man of God – a prophet, the foundation must be the path of repentance and true prayer. But prayer cannot be mixed with Buddhist or yoga meditations.
Interior prayer
When you realize in prayer that God sees you, in His light, both before yourself and before God, you need to confess your sins – manifestations of selfishness, self-will, criticism, self-indulgence. In this light, look with faith at Christ crucified and realize that He, the only-begotten Son of God, died on the cross for you and your sins. If you do so, God’s Word says: “If we walk in the light, the blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin.” (1Jn 1:7)
The next condition for communion with Jesus in personal prayer is to learn to lose your soul for the sake of Christ (Mk 8:34f). In baptism we were buried into Christ’s death. Christ’s death is the moment of an absolute surrender to the Father expressed in the words of Jesus: “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” In this prayer, spend at least one minute in a complete surrender to God as if it was the last minute in your life.
Baptism
Through baptism we were united to Christ’s death and resurrection. We have put off the old self and put on the new one. “As many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” (Gal 3:27) A life of faith means to be together with Christ in different life situations – you and Jesus together.
This year we celebrate the anniversary of the baptism of Kievan Russia by Prince Vladimir. All Christians should renew their baptism and revive its essence through faith. The essence of baptism is unity with Christ’s death and resurrection. A life of faith means that you live the relationship with Jesus. Our life is a test period which determines our eternity. “He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.” (Mk 16:16)
Anathema – curse
A true monk, according to St. Basil, is a warrior of Christ. St. Basil fought against the heresy of Arianism which was accepted by the majority of the Eastern bishops. Today not only heresies but even Buddhist and yoga meditations pose a danger of spiritual plague in Western monasteries. The fruit is a curse which has fallen on the Western Church. But the same spirit is pressurizing the Orthodox Church. So it is necessary to resist it bravely. The monks should defend the true bishops against the heretical ones even at the cost of persecution by the heretics.
The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate strives to maintain the purity of the faith. On these grounds this Patriarchate declared an anathema on the last two Popes, on Cardinals and on the majority of the Latin bishops because of their unity with modern heresies and with the spirit of Assisi. The Patriarchate declared an anathema on the Orthodox Patriarch Kirill because of his apostatical gesture in Astana, on Patriarch Bartholomew for his syncretistic gesture in Assisi and on Patriarch Theophilos, the illegitimate Patriarch of Jerusalem, for his apostatical gesture in Kiev. None of them can remove the curse. The only way of salvation for them is true repentance.
Let every monastery be the centre of zeal and the source of God’s Spirit.
Prophetic prayer
In Ezek 37, God gives instructions for a prophetic prayer as a means towards the spiritual resurrection of the dead Church. In the first part, the prophet is to prophesy in the authority of God to dry bones – that means, to the spiritually dead. In the second part, he is to prophesy to the Spirit of God, calling Him to come and complete the spiritual resurrection. Realize that Russia, Belarus and Ukraine are a spiritual cemetery. God wants every Russian monk to be a prophet and to call intensively to the dry bones and to the Spirit of God so that the Russian nation may be raised to life.
Jesus dying on the cross cried out with a loud voice and committed His spirit into the arms of His Father. Psalms often emphasize calling (crying) to God. The essence of crying is expressed by a vowel. Jesus cried Abba (Father)! Try to call “Abbaaaaaaa” and unite to the Holy Spirit who is in you. He will pray in you with groanings that cannot be expressed in words (Rom 8:15.26). If you cry in the Spirit and truth (Jn 4:23-24), demons will flee from the monastery, and from all the surroundings, and even from all Russia.
God said to Ezekiel several times, and now He says to you: “Prophesy, son of man.” Be aware that Jesus is in you through baptism and faith. Prophesy to the Russian people, prophesy to the Spirit. May this jubilee year see the spiritual resurrection of Kievan Russia.
