Appeal before the Pentecost 2011
Lvov (Ukraine), 21st May 2011
To bishops, priests and believers of the UGCC
Dear bishops, priests and faithful of the UGCC,
on 1 May 2011 Pope Benedict XVI excommunicated himself from the Church because by so-called beatification of John Paul II he placed the spirit of Assisi, the spirit of antichrist, on the altar of the Church. This step denies the very essence of the Gospel and the unicity of salvation in Christ (cf. Acts 4:12). It destroys the nature of true mission which delivers pagans from the power of darkness and conveys them into the kingdom of God (cf. Col 1:13). By false beatification he obliges every Catholic believer to accept a false gospel and the spirit of antichrist! This is a betrayal of Christ and His Gospel. This betrayal contradicts not only the essence of the Gospel but also the whole Church Tradition and the mission of all the Popes. The Apostle Peter or any of his successors cannot unite with the apostatical doctrine and the spirit of antichrist which was embodied by the apostate John Paul II and beatified by Benedict XVI.
The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate was established on the eve of this great apostasy not to challenge the papacy, but rather to defend it. The meaning of the Church dogma of papal infallibility proclaimed in 1870 was that the Pope’s authority should define and uphold the Christian truths. When the Pope confirmed the heretical teachings, he ceased to be the Pope. As a heretic he became fallible and one must no longer obey such Pope. Every Christian must separate from him as from a heretic. The promise of Christ: “You are Peter, which means rock” applied to the person of the Apostle Peter and his followers who were in unity of the Spirit with him.
On 1 May 2011, by beatifying John Paul II, Benedict XVI excommunicated himself and at the same time he posthumously excommunicated John Paul II, too. Both are excommunicated from the Church as heretics. There is no doubt about that. “If anyone preaches any other gospel to you, let him be accursed (anathema).” (Gal 1:8-9)
The spirit of Assisi – the spirit of antichrist – puts the saving faith in Christ’s death on the cross on an equal footing with the pagan worship of demons. Benedict XVI has placed this spirit on the altar of the Church. Therefore, every bishop and every priest must publicly separate from this spirit. This means concretely that every bishop and every priest must stop mentioning the name of Pope Benedict XVI in the Liturgy. Unless they do so, they call down God’s curse on themselves as well as on the believers. If a priest mentions the name of the ex-Pope, let every believer notify this priest not to do so. If he refuses, as from 12 June 2011 he is under an anathema and the believers must separate from him. The apostate priest will then celebrate the Liturgy and administer the sacraments invalidly. It will be a mere pious performance that brings no blessing but a curse.
“You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.” (1Cor 10:21) The believers who attend such Liturgy do not receive a blessing but a curse. They must stop attending the Liturgies officiated by such apostate and they should choose a God-fearing man, whom the Patriarchate shall ordain a priest after a short course. This priest shall celebrate the Liturgy on Sundays and festivals and administer the sacraments for them legitimately.
The Liturgy may be celebrated either in the school building, in other public buildings or in one’s own home, and later on they can build a chapel. These true-Catholic believers, separated from the apostatical leadership, will be subordinated to the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate. The Patriarchate preserves all the truths of Catholic doctrine and the true tradition of the martyrish Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church.
The priest who will break with the spirit of antichrist and will not mention the name of Benedict XVI cannot mention the new successor of ex-Card. Husar, Msgr. Svatoslav Shevchuk, either, who personally attended the apostatical ceremony in Rome on 1 May 2011. When he was officially appealed by the Patriarchate to renounce the spirit of Assisi, the spirit of antichrist, he did not do so. On 14 May 2011 he fell under an anathema – God’s curse. Therefore, starting from the Pentecost, no priest of the Greek-Catholic Church can mention his name in the Liturgy any more.
A priest who is faithful to Christ and to the Gospel and who has at heart the salvation of his own soul and the salvation of immortal souls will mention neither the ex-Pope Benedict nor Msgr. Shevchuk, ex-Head of the UGCC, even at the price of being persecuted by the apostatical hierarchy.
In the Litany of Peace the priest shall pray: “For the most holy ecumenical Pontiff, the future Pope of Rome, let us pray to the Lord.” Explanation: Instead of the name “Benedict” the word “future” is used. If the ex-Pope died and the apostatical hierarchy elected another Pope, the sedes vacantis state continues. A legitimate future Pope of Rome will be elected from among those bishops who have clearly separated from the spirit of Assisi, the spirit of antichrist.
Furthermore, the priests shall pray in this Litany: “For our God-loving true bishops, for the venerable priesthood, the diaconate in Christ, for all the clergy and the people, let us pray to the Lord.”
Similarly, let them pray in the Litany of Supplication as follows: “Again we pray for His Holiness, the ecumenical Pontiff, the future Pope of Rome, for our God-loving true bishops, for those who serve and have served…”
In the Great Entrance: “May the Lord remember in His kingdom, the most holy ecumenical Pontiff, the future Pope of Rome, and our God-loving true bishops….”
After singing “It is truly meet” the priest shall pray: “Among the first, O Lord, remember our God-loving true bishops, preserve them for Your holy churches…”
If the local bishop has separated from the spirit of Assisi and does not mention the name of the ex-Pope Benedict and ex-Head of the UGCC, the priests shall mention the name of this true-Catholic bishop in the Liturgy.
Dear bishops, priests and faithful of the UGCC, each of You personally has to make a choice – whether You will accept the Spirit of Christ or the spirit of antichrist, the Spirit of God or the spirit of apostasy.
May the Holy Spirit descend on the Day of Pentecost on all sincere bishops, priests and faithful of the UGCC.
Praying for You and blessing You,
+ Elijah
