The Bible and the spirit of Assisi

Lviv, 30th May 2011

On 27th October 1986, John Paul II convened leaders of various pagan and non-Catholic religions for a meeting in Assisi. He put Catholic churches at the disposal of pagans so that they could worship demons there. Finally, he himself “offered” so-called prayers for peace together with them and closed this worship of demons with the prayer “Our Father”. By this act of his John Paul II degraded the Body of Christ – the Church – to the level of demonic paganism (voodoo cult, shamanism, satanism). Jesus’ words fully apply to the gathering in Assisi: “You are of your father the devil.” (Jn 8:44). This gesture was set as a precedent. Every year similar meetings have been held in various countries. 25 years after this spiritual crime, which runs counter to the very essence of the Bible, Benedict XVI declared John Paul II blessed. Thus, starting from 1st May 2011, he accomplished the mass apostasy and officially received the spirit of Assisi – the spirit of antichrist – into the Church.

The spirit of Assisi promotes the heretical thought: “Christ is not the only Saviour. Conversion and repentance does not make sense. The worship of demons is the way to salvation.”

In contrast, Jesus gives a clear command to the Apostle Paul: “I am sending you to the gentiles to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins by faith in Me.” (Acts 26:18)

Entire Holy Scripture in the Old and New Testament clearly points out the great evil associated with paganism, i.e. with reverence for other gods (demons). In the first commandment God forbids categorically: “You shall have no other gods … I am the Lord your God.” (Deut 5:6-10) God warns against all forms of occultism (Deut 18:9f) which are also part of paganism. Through them works demonic power which affects human souls. These are a divination, magic and spiritism. “Whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord.” (v.12)

God’s Word judges the kings of Judah and Israel by only one criterion and that is the first commandment. The king who worshiped God and distanced himself from idolatry brought down a blessing and peace on the entire nation. Sovereigns, who worshiped pagan Baals and Ashtarot and tolerated various forms of occultism, brought down a curse on the whole nation, suffering, wars, and finally Babylonian exile.

All the prophets fought against the spirit of paganism as well as against betrayal committed by the people of God. Inclination to paganism was regarded as spiritual adultery. An example of the struggle for purification of faith is the prophet Elijah (1Ki 18). In the Babylonian captivity, the three young men preferred to be cast into the furnace than to worship an idol. Daniel was cast into the den of lions for his faithfulness to God. Maccabean sons along with their mother were all martyred on the same day. To save their lives, it would be enough just to taste forbidden meat. Hundreds of thousands of early Christians died martyrs. They also would have saved their lives if they had made a small gesture of apostasy. However, they remained faithful to Christ and were martyred. When the Apostle Paul held a true mission in Ephesus (Acts 19), the fruit of conversion of the locals was radical separation from the spirit of paganism. They burnt occult literature worth 50,000 denarii. On the island of Cyprus (Acts 13) he called a Jewish sorcerer the son of the devil. In Philippi (Acts 16) he cast the spirit of divination out of a pagan female slave.

God’s word points out: “What pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to have fellowship with demons (Assisi).” (1Cor 10:20)

The spirit of Assisi is the spirit of antichrist and the Word of God says in 2Sol 2:10: He will use every kind of wicked deception to fool those who are on their way to destruction because they refuse to love and believe the truth that would save them.

Eternal punishment is in store for idolaters – Rev 21.8: “… as for the idolaters, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur.”

Today, idolatry is spread like an avalanche through practices that are associated with demoniacal magic and divination: homeopathy, acupuncture, Reiki, Silva Method, hypnosis, astrology, horoscopes, fortune telling, superstitions, radioesthesis (pendulum, dowsing rod), psychotronic, oriental martial arts related with meditations, yoga associated with guruism, transcendental meditation, current psychologies associated with occultism …

The gesture of Assisi was prepared by the historical-critical theology and by the document “Nostra aetate” (1965) on reverence for pagan demons. In Assisi the most important Christian truth was betrayed – the uniqueness of salvation in Christ (Acts 4:12). If any of the Popes had made this gesture before Vatican II, he would have been condemned for a manifest betrayal. After the beatification of the spirit of Assisi on 1st May 2011, the spirit of antichrist took the official power.

Every bishop and priest must radically separate himself from this spirit of betrayal by stopping mentioning the name of ex-Pope Benedict XVI in the liturgy by 12th June 2011. The believers are to warn the treacherous priest, and if he will not obey, they can no longer attend his liturgies which, in fact, will be invalid!
