BCP: What is the future of Bergoglio’s theology?

19 December 2024

On 9-10 December, the Vatican hosted the International Congress on the Future of Theology, organized by the Dicastery for Culture and Education.

It is absurd that the Dicastery for Culture should decide on the future of theology.

What is the purpose of theology? It is to provide the knowledge of the fundamental truths necessary for salvation. Dogmatics clarifies and safeguards orthodox doctrine. Moral theology defines the moral principles, embodied in God’s commandments, and the commandments themselves. Both dogmatic and moral theology depend on the inspired Word of God. Theology includes apologetics, which is the defence of the faith and the defence of God’s commandments. Theology is connected with the struggle against heresies that undermine the pillars of our salvation, and with the struggle against the spirit of the world. The centre of theology is the atoning death of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, for our sins and His historical and real resurrection. In order that these profound truths given to us in the Holy Scriptures may be truthfully explained, it is not enough to know the Scriptures only outwardly. In accordance with the Tradition of the Apostles and the Church Fathers, it is necessary to perceive the true meaning of Scripture and not to distort it, as the historical-critical method in theology has done, especially since the Council. Historical-critical theology is part of modernism and has opened the door to this heresy in the heart of the Church. Its current metastasis, erupted by the heretical hyperactivity of Francis Bergoglio, is only a consequence and a testimony of this. Heretical theology must be called by its true name. It has been poisoning all theological schools for nearly 60 years and is untouchable because it refers to Vatican II. It follows that Vatican II, while using many orthodox terms and statements, was heretical in its very nature. It opened the door to the pan-heresy of modernism and also to paganism through syncretism.

Orthodox theology can only be reformed by orthodox personalities who, moreover, should be characterised by holiness of life. This means that they must know the principles of spiritual warfare, not only against sin but also against the forces of darkness. They must draw light and knowledge from God in prayer, because it is about the supernatural in its essence. This has been removed from the centre of Christianity by the historical-critical method. The path of true reform and renewal of the Church is the opposite of Bergoglio’s path, which has become the final nail in the coffin.

Church Fathers such as St Basil, St Gregory the Theologian, St Gregory of Nyssa, St Augustine, St Jerome, later St Thomas Aquinas, St Bonaventure and other saints stand out in sacred theology. Heretics, immoral men or worshippers of demons can in no way be true theologians (teachers of true doctrine). They are “heresiologians” (teachers of heresy) and the impact of their heretical activity is disastrous. Sadly, there is a whole army of such theologians in Germany, including, after the Council, Karl and Hugo Rahner, Hans Küng, Drewemann and others. This German theology has borne disastrous fruit in Germany itself and has opened the door to the so-called creativity that Bergoglio now promotes. Where one builds on heresies, there is neither a living God nor a sure salvation. There reigns the idol of the human ego, with the legalization of sin and its blessing.

It is impossible to speak of true theology when Bergoglio, in Ad theologiam promovendam of 1 November 2023, comes out with the axiom of a change of paradigms, adding that everything contrary to what he has decreed is invalid. He thus overturns the essential pillars of the Catholic Church. In destroying the pillars of the faith, he can refer to Vatican II and cloak himself in respect for the culture of other nations, i.e. the document Nostra aetate. In fact, this is apostasy and rebellion against God.

To speak of a theology of the future on this false basis is to make fools of true Catholics.

Quoting Bergoglio: “… the ‘where’, the ‘how’ and the ‘why’ of theology. We may wonder: Theology, where are you? With whom are you going? What are you doing for humanity?”

Commentary: Modernism, with its so-called scientific approach to Scripture, actually denies the supernatural in the Bible. It also questions the miracles of Christ, His atoning death, the historical resurrection, and the divine inspiration of Scripture in general. St Pius X called modernism the cesspool of all heresies. But these heresies have been brought to life by the Second Vatican Council, and the fruit of this poisoned theology is clearly visible in Bergoglio. Repentance is needed here, a change of attitude from heresy to orthodoxy, from unbelief to faith in Christ and His Gospel. After her conversion in 1978, Prof. Linnemann, a student of R. Bultmann, wrote: “We have put generation after generation of believing Christian young people, who were willing and eager to serve God, through this fire, sacrificing them to the Moloch of an atheistic theology. The result has been generation after generation of seduced seducers. When will we become converted at last and leave this idolatry? … If anyone follows this path of godlessness, is he still free in his decisions?… One has to do with demonic powers which hold sway over everyone who follows this way.”

The disciple of Christ who remains faithful to Christ and His Gospel will be hated by the world. Bergoglio, on the other hand, forms an indissoluble unity with the spirit of the world, and, moreover, brings this spirit into the heart of the Church. The result is spiritual death. The tragedy is that the successors of the apostles, the bishops, do not see this at all.

Quoting Bergoglio: “… whether the theological heritage of the past can still speak to today’s challenges and help us imagine the future.”

Commentary: On 1 November 2023, Bergoglio issued the heretical motu proprio Ad theologiam promovendam, in which he introduced the principle of paradigm shift, i.e. the destruction of the theological heritage of the past. Specifically, he states: “Theological reflection is called to a turning point, to a paradigm shift, to a ‘courageous cultural revolution’.” He concluded: “All that I have decreed in this Apostolic Letter motu proprio given, I order to have stable and lasting force, notwithstanding anything to the contrary.” He radically opposes the Spirit of truth who is the author of Scripture and permeates the whole tradition of the Church. The process of paradigm shift is the gradual destruction of the Catholic Church at its core, so it is not hard to imagine the future.

Quoting Bergoglio: “Here I think of an episode in the Second Book of Kings. During the restoration of the Temple in Jerusalem, a text came to light; … So the king decided to give it to a woman, Huldah, who immediately understood its meaning and helped the group of scholars – all men – to grasp it.”

Commentary: Bergoglio, however, conceals the essence of these verses: “Thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will bring disaster on this place and on its inhabitants – according to the words of the book which the king of Judah has read – because they have forsaken Me and burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke Me to anger…” The paradox is that Bergoglio pays no attention to the punishment for idolatry, which he himself commits. He enthroned the Pachamama demon in the Vatican (2019), consecrated himself to Satan in Canada, and introduces the pagan practices and spirit into the holy liturgy, an example of which is the Mayan Mass. In this way, he brings down God’s punishment on the Church and the nations. He misuses the Scriptures to promote the ordination of women.

As for women in the Church, not only in the Old Testament, but also in the New Testament, women prophets are mentioned, such as the prophetess Anna or the four daughters of the deacon Philip. Some of the holy women received the title of Doctor of the Church after their death, such as St Catherine of Siena, St Teresa of Avila and others. But holy women have their own task in the Church. Bergoglio, however, is not concerned with holy women, he is concerned with creating chaos, and therefore he is destroying the Church’s tradition.

The teaching office in the Church was entrusted to the apostles and their successors, along with the administration of the sacraments.

Quoting Bergoglio: “There are things that only women understand… An all-male theology is an incomplete theology…”

Commentary: As for theology, the words of the Apostle apply: “I do not permit a woman to teach” (1Tim 2:12), that is, she cannot hold a teaching office. She can teach catechism, as is the practice of the Church, but even holy women who were prophets or doctors of the Church were always subordinate to the teaching office that Jesus entrusted to the apostles and their successors. Bergoglio wants to introduce in the coming days the ordination of female deacons, female priests and subsequently female bishops, so that they can perhaps become popes. This is a way to dismantle the Church from within. “It was not Adam who was led astray but the woman who was led astray and fell into sin.” (1Tim 2:14)

Quoting Bergoglio: “The desire is this: that theology help to rethink how to think.”

Commentary: Everyone can see how Bergoglio is rethinking how to think. The Holy Scriptures describe sodomy as an abomination, the Catechism as a sin that cries to heaven for vengeance, but Bergoglio legalizes and blesses this sin. In doing so, he denies the Holy Scriptures and the entire Christian tradition. This is a striking example of rethinking how to think.

Quoting Bergoglio: “… a shrivelled, closed and mediocre way of thinking is hardly capable of generating creativity and courage.”

Commentary: Here is an example of Bergoglio’s manipulation. He pre-emptively ridicules anyone who stands up for the unchanging orthodox teaching that ensures salvation. Common sense and critical thinking, which call sin sin, are labelled by Bergoglio as “a shrivelled, closed and mediocre way of thinking”. Thus he has de facto branded all the Fathers and Doctors of the Church and all the saints as incapable of generating creativity and courage. However, the term creativity hides endless talk and heresy of all kinds, chaos, lawlessness, the Church’s legalization of LGBTQ immorality, etc. The term courage hides the abandonment of conscience, reason and the fear of God and a headlong plunge into the abyss of eternal damnation.

Bergoglio ridicules orthodox theology, claiming that it is turning into an ideology. He describes those who preach it as “flattening reality to a single, shallow idea, which – like parrots – they then repeat obsessively and manipulate”. But this is precisely what Bergoglio has done, turning theological studies into heretical studies and obsessively parroting the need to receive so-called refugees and welcome and listen to LGBTQ people in the Church.

Quoting Bergoglio: “Make imaginative adjustments to your programmes of study so that theology can be accessible to all.”

Commentary: The phrase about making theology accessible to all is once again a guise for Bergoglio’s legalization of the sin of sodomy and the preaching of anti-repentance. In that case, the programmes of study will no longer be based on Scripture and Tradition, but on Bergoglio’s new paradigms, which contradict the fundamental truths of the faith. Therefore, Catholics who do not separate from Bergoglio are walking with him down the synodal path of apostasy to eternal destruction. The solution to save oneself is to come out of Bergoglio’s Babylon.
