BCP: Three letters on the purity of heart (The first letter – To persons consecrated to God)

The first letter – To persons consecrated to God
The second letter – To married couples
The third letter – To youth about purity
The first letter
Dear bishops, priests and religious,
in a seven-part commentary, the BCP reacted to the promotion of sodomy by the Jesuit J. Martin. What was the attitude of the pagan sage Diogenes towards immorality compared to Martin? It is told of Diogenes that one day at noon he went walking in the market-place at Athens, with a candle, looking for something; and when asked: “What are you looking for?” he said: “I am looking to see if I can find a man.” “Why? Don’t you see the market-place full of them?” “These,” he said, “are not men, but beasts, since they live not as men but beasts, ruled and guided by their bestial appetites.” But the fact is that immorality literally turns men into predatory and dangerous animals – beasts – if not demons incarnate. The Gospel of Christ, by contrast, gives man true dignity.
What would the Apostle Paul say about the Jesuit Martin? “But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting.” (Eph 5:3-4) “It is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.” (Eph 5:12)
“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” (Eph 5:11) The works of darkness today include sexual (anti)education, gender agenda involving gender reassignment… All this is a sign of demonism and satanization of apostate Christianity.
“Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? … Flee sexual immorality! … Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you? …” (1Cor 6:15-18)
The Church always taught purity before marriage, marital fidelity, and purity of persons consecrated to God.
Dear consecrated persons,
it is not possible to discuss the question of moral purity without being rooted in a living faith which views life from the perspective of eternity and counts on God’s help in this struggle. Provided that one really turns from the path of sin to God and finds a living relationship with Jesus, all problems are gradually solved. The condition, however, is to follow the new way, which is Jesus (cf. Jn 14).
Over the recent period, through the heresies of neomodernism and syncretism, the faith has been torn from the living relationship to Jesus and thereby from life as well. In many places, Christianity has become a mere soulless ideology. Morality has thus lost both its foundations and its substantiation. This is most sensitive in relation to the Sixth and Ninth Commandments. The only way out of this vicious circle is not to deal with the issue of morality as an atomistic unit without linking it to the essence, namely to the living relationship with Jesus. The solution is to preach the living Christ and the full Gospel, thus doing true reevangelization! Then we will also be able to understand the moral requirements given in the Sermon on the Mount: “If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you.” (Mt 5:29) What does it mean? We have two kinds of sight: physical and mental. The mental one is our imagination which has an ability to revive something specific from memory, which consequently arouses our sensual desire. Therefore as soon as an unclean image or memory emerges, I must pluck out my inner eye from the connection with this image and cast it from me – separate from it. This is practically an inward self-denial, an act of breaking with an inward or outward impure look. This plucking out of the eye is not a one-shot act but rather it is our life programme, a path of faith and struggle for our salvation. “This is a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” (Rom 12:1f)
You, dear bishops and priests, are facing a historic stage, an internal reform of the Church. The Second Vatican Council opened the door to a false reform of the Church; it opened the door to heresies, syncretism and anti-morality. Today we are reaping the fruits both in the Church and in the world. Start the reform from yourselves. Jesus admonishes the bishops of the early Church to repent, and His word is relevant to each of you: “To the angel (bishop) of the Church in Sardis write: ‘I know your works; you have the name of being alive, and you are dead. Strengthen what remains and is on the point of death!… Repent.’” (Rev 3:1f)
The saints began repentance with themselves! And that is the way for you too. Thereafter, it is necessary to begin a reform of seminaries and priests. What needs to be done in relation to the students of theology is to bring to light heresies hidden behind the mendacious system of historical-critical theology (neomodernism), as it was done by Pius X. It is also necessary to openly condemn a false regard for pagan cults, de facto for their demons! Seminarians must be led to personal conversion and to the following of Jesus Christ through interior prayer and God’s Word (cf. Acts 6:4). This will also solve all questions of morality. If the life of Jesus becomes our life, we will preach and witness to Christ and His Gospel in the power of God. If we lack this spiritual power, we turn into unsavoury salt which is thrown out and trampled underfoot by men (cf. Mt 5:13). In this historic time, you, as successors of the Apostles, are fully responsible in the first place to fulfil the most essential requirement, namely to accomplish the restoration of the Church. You will be held accountable for this before God’s judgment seat.
You, dear priests and religious, have a duty to be a model of holiness and purity like the Apostle Paul. Not only did he not have a wife, but he was truly free from the cares of the world. What he was concerned about was in the first place his living relationship to Jesus and then also the salvation of souls. And what are you concerned about? You must follow St Paul so that you may say like him: “Imitate me just as I also imitate Christ.” (1Cor 11:1)
When it comes to sexuality, one has to have a clear-cut attitude. Sexuality is realized in human way only when it is a part of matrimony. Sexuality is an integral part of the love in marital cohabitation, which, however, involves lifelong sacrifice until death. Love has a physical plane, which is eros, then a mental plane, which is the love of family or nation – philia, and finally there is agape, pure love, which is rooted in God and is manifested by selfless sacrifice in relation to neighbour.
God has put love especially in a mother’s heart – the love of a mother for her child. The essence of this love is expressed in an old legend: There was a villainous son to whom the devil offered a bag of money provided that he would kill his mother and bring her heart to a dark forest at night. The son did as he had been told, but he tripped over a stump in the dark forest and his mother’s bloody heart fell to the ground. At that moment, he heard a soft moan: “Did you hurt yourself, my son?” This is only a pale image of the love of Jesus which does not stop loving us in spite of being constantly cast away, hurt and killed by us.
At the beginning of the 20th century (1902), a 12-year-old girl was murdered in Nettune, Italy, who preferred to die a martyr rather than to lose the crown of purity. The Church canonized her. There were also others like her, such as St Agnes, Lucy, Agatha and many more…
In catechesis, priests must emphasize the teaching of the Church that the betrothed are obliged to keep purity in self-control.
Pure love – Agape
God often brings man to celibacy under certain circumstances.
W. Busch (1897-1966), as an evangelist and missionary in Germany, had the courage to tell young women after the war: “During the Second World War, five million young men in Germany alone lost their lives on the battle-field. Which means that five million young women in our country are condemned to remain single. Just try to imagine the plight of these five million women. The men are buried in our military cemeteries. I would like to say to these women, ‘Don’t try to steal what you’ve been deprived of. Don’t disturb the peace of married couples.’ ‘So what should we do?’ they ask. And I tell them, ‘You, unmarried women, fill your life with pure love – Agape – a relationship to Jesus, and you will know true happiness that will fill your heart and that no man can give you. This Agape, which fills the human heart, is demonstrated through self-sacrificing service to the sick, afflicted and lonely. The world is thirsting for that kind of self-sacrificing love!’”
Without a living faith, it is not possible – either after the war or today – to make life sacrifices and to find true love and true happiness – Jesus. This faith, however, is being poisoned and destroyed by various half-truths, phrases, philosophies or new theologies!
We have the natural law of gravity. Whatever is heavier than air falls to the ground. Man is bound by this law. To be able to fly he used a balloon inflated with a lighter-than-air gas. He thus broke the law of gravity. Similarly, we have the law of sin (Rom 7:1) which pulls us downward. But then there is the law of the Spirit which has made me free from the law of sin and death. This law only applies to those who are in Christ Jesus. (cf. Rom 8:1-2)
We ask: Is C. G. Jung’s psychology and S. Freud’s psychoanalysis a moral contribution to contemporary mankind? We can say that it is not. Their practices do not lead to Christ, to the forgiveness of sins, to deliverance from sinful addiction, but on the contrary lead to false paths and legalize sin. Unfortunately, not only patients in mental hospitals but also many nuns replace the spiritual life with these practices. To whom did Freud give strength to fight the so-called libido – sinful lust? Who did he make free from sin? It is beyond human power either to overcome the so-called libido or to fulfil the Gospel’s requirements. But if we have a living relationship to Jesus, He gives us the strength (cf. Phil 4:13).
The Apostle John writes: “Young men, you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.” (1Jn 2:14) The Apostle knows that young men must fight temptations particularly against chastity, and he knows too that it is the Evil One (i.e. an unclean demon) who eventually plays on this area. How have they overcome? By abiding in the word of God! “If you abide in My word… you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (Jn 8:31-32) This promise fully applies even today not only to young men but to all who have received Christ. The condition for us to overcome the Evil One is to abide in Christ and His word.
Unclean demons
They worked not only in the time of Christ, but they still work today (sexual murders, perversions, gender dysphoria, sodomy…). To say that unclean demons have gone for a holiday or are jobless is a sign of spiritual blindness. We see in the Gospel that an unclean spirit is often associated with certain diseases, and after it is cast out, people are healed. “Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, ‘Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him!’” (Mk 9:25) “Those troubled by unclean spirits were healed.” (Lk 6:18) How an unclean spirit affects the psychosomatic system is a mystery. “Jesus gave the apostles power to cast out demons.” (Mt 10:1) And what about us? This command is addressed to us too. We are likewise called to cast them out with the finger of God like the apostles and saints who received the power of God and cooperated with it.
As for priestly tragedies, they also concern married Protestant pastors.
Merlin Carothers tells this story: A certain Pentecostal pastor built up a prosperous congregation. He had a good wife and exemplary children. He had a blessed ministry for nearly thirty years. One day a certain lady from his congregation sought him out for pastoral counsel. She told him she would often think about him and imagine immoral things. The pastor had not expected such a conversation and was not prepared for it. Instead of cutting her off at this point, radically changing the subject of the conversation and ending it as soon as possible, he listened to her sympathetically. Outwardly, nothing seemed to have happened. The pastor told himself that if she were scheduled to see him again, he would make sure that his wife was present. But the person concerned came back to the church without an appointment, started a conversation and began to weep. In a false effort to comfort her, he placed his hand on her shoulder. With that she rose and embraced him. The outcome was that the woman became pregnant and was now demanding that he divorce his wife and marry her. When the minister asked Pastor Merlin’s advice, he told him something like this: “You have fallen into a trap, but the root is deeper. How did you think about other women prior to now?” He replied: “I thought normal thoughts about other women like any other man.” Merlin said to him: “There it is. And that’s the root of the catastrophe. What does it mean to think normal thoughts? It means that you didn’t radically resist impure thoughts and imaginations. While you wouldn’t let the thought of physical adultery enter your mind, you committed spiritual adultery through the eye of your soul (imagination). These seeds of immorality lying within you were waiting for an opportunity to blossom, and when the opportunity arose, they came forth. That’s the core of the problem.” The pastor then confessed his failure to his church and became an ordinary worker. He was deeply grieved and humiliated when he thought about his sin and about his family and the people he hurt. The whole tragedy lay in the fact how little he endeavoured to fulfil God’s requirements for pure thinking, for plucking out the eye of imagination and throwing it away (cf. Mt 5:29).
We often see totally unwise or scandalous behaviour of young priests towards women. God will not protect them if they ignore both the natural and spiritual protection against falling. It is only a matter of time before it ends in a catastrophe. Statistics show a sad increase in the number of priests leaving the priesthood.
The amorality of the so-called synodal path of the German bishops, who even seek to introduce sodomite church marriages, serves as a warning.
How can German theologians defend Jesus if they practically deny Him?! How can they defend the spiritual life if they have none?! How can they speak about morals if they do not recognize any?! The devil – Satan – is the most intelligent theologian. His disciples are theologians with the spirit of the world. They are anonymous satanists.
Among the sins that are contrary to chastity, mention should be made of masturbation, fornication, pornography, and sodomy.
Dear successors of the Apostles, you have been commissioned to represent the Church and to speak on its behalf.
Questions of morality are particularly sensitive. Many so-called theologians, instead of building a living faith and moral principles, do the exact opposite. A bishop is obliged not only to punish heretics, but he is also obliged to ensure sound teachings and means of salvation. Realize that you have a great responsibility to God, to the Church, but also to all who seek the truth. You cannot keep unity with the homosexual network or with the invalid Pope Bergoglio who privileges sodomy!
Dear priests and religious, the situation in the Church is critical! It is your duty to proclaim the orthodox teachings of the Church as well as God’s commandments and laws. You are responsible for the salvation of the souls of those entrusted to you. Nowadays, when the invalid Pope and the world are preaching an antigospel, legalizing gender demoralization, Pachamama idolatry and vaccino-chipping in line with Gates and the elites, you must be ready for persecution, and even ready for eventual death as a threat posed by worldwide quarantine connected with vaccination and depopulation. You will either stand under the banner of Christ or under the banner of the antichrist. You cannot serve two masters, and the salvation of those who obey you and follow you depends on your faithfulness. Be heroes and, if necessary, run against the stream for the sake of Christ and souls.

The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate (BCP) is a community of monks, priests and bishops living in monasteries. The BCP is headed by Patriarch Elijah with two Secretary Bishops, +Timothy and +Methodius. The BCP arose from the need to defend the fundamental Christian truths against heresies and apostasy. It does not recognize pseudo Pope Bergoglio and is not subordinate to him.
