Word of life – Rom 5:15 (NKJ)

“But the free gift is not like the offense.
For if by the one man’s offense many died,
much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace
of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.”

(27 Nov-11 Dec)

Chapter 5 of the Epistle to the Romans, verses 12 to 21, speaks about sin and the gift of God’s grace. It points to Adam, through whom sin came into the world and to Jesus Christ, through whom came deliverance from sin and the gift of God’s grace and justification.
Brief summary of verse 15: Through the sin of disobedience and disbelief to God and through the sin of belief to the devil, the infection of sin passed to Adam and brought about death. Jesus took upon Himself our human nature and died for our sins on the cross. Through the gift of grace He gave us more than what Adam had lost. Through the One – Jesus – we receive forgiveness of sins. In addition, through this One Man we become partakers of the divine nature. We become adopted sons and daughters of God. “To all who did receive him, he gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12) We become heirs of God’s kingdom and eternal glory in heaven.
It is important to know that only through the One, i.e. Jesus Christ, the grace of God came, through which we are saved (Eph. 2:5). God’s grace came through no guru, no avatar, no Krishna, no Buddha, no Shiva, no Perun, no pagan reincarnated deity. Through them comes deception, curse and false enlightenment which, in fact, is possession by the evil spirit. There is salvation in no one else but Jesus Christ. Jesus calls all these seducers of mankind thieves who steal sheep. Jesus is the only Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep (cf. John 10).
The gesture of Assisi was a gesture of respect for pagan demons, which is a betrayal of Christ. By this gesture Benedict XVI falsely put the only One – Jesus Christ – on an equal footing with many deceivers and their demons, who lead the souls to eternal perdition.

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”
