Jo\u00e3o Paulo II e Bento XVI alteraram o C\u00f3digo apenas uma vez, enquanto Francisco o fez 11 vezes, mudando 137 c\u00e2nones no processo. Aqui vemos que o C\u00f3digo e os c\u00e2nones s\u00e3o mut\u00e1veis, ao contr\u00e1rio das verdades divinas, que s\u00e3o imut\u00e1veis.
