O rito implica o absurdo estabelecimento de duas fun\u00e7\u00f5es pseudolit\u00fargicas, a de <em>\u201cprincipal\u201d<\/em> e a de <em>\u201cincensor\u201d<\/em>. O \u201cprincipal\u201d tamb\u00e9m pode ser uma mulher, apesar de que \u00e0s vezes ela seja mais importante que o padre. O \u201cincensor\u201d tamb\u00e9m atua como di\u00e1cono e, \u00e0s vezes, at\u00e9 como sacerdote celebrante.
