\"\"<\/a>Dear Mr President,<\/p>\n

we hereby address You with a request for help and protection of our monastery in Lvov<\/strong>-Bryukhovychi since the lives of our Sisters are repeatedly in danger!<\/strong><\/p>\n

On 13 July 2017, at 23:30, there was an attack on our monastery. An unknown group of men threw Molotov cocktails at the windows. There were 30 religious sisters and 5 guests sleeping inside. Only by a miracle of God there was no catastrophe and the monastery was not turned into a mass grave.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is not so long since there was a similar attack with Molotov cocktails on our monastery<\/u>. It was at three o\u2019clock in the night. The health of our Sisters is damaged to this day. What is more, all of them were in danger of being suffocated and burnt to death, and the whole monastery was in danger of being destroyed by fire (see https:\/\/youtu.be\/EGYFp-8dtwo<\/a>). The crime was not properly investigated and no culprit was punished! This is the reason why this criminal activity was repeated.<\/p>\n

Our monastery was founded by Metropolitan A. Sheptytskyi OSBM in 1925 and was named The Monastery of St Elijah the Prophet. Nine years ago, the monastery was separated from the jurisdiction of deceased Cardinal Husar. The reason was that in his book \u201cConversations with Lubomyr Cardinal Husar \u2013 Towards a Post-Confessional Christianity\u201d (2006), he questioned the most fundamental truths of Christianity, namely the Divinity of our Saviour Jesus Christ and the virginity of the Mother of God, denied the eternity of hell and approved homosexual activity as well as occultism (divination).<\/p>\n

Our monastery remained faithful to orthodox doctrine represented by our founder, Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytskyi OSBM<\/u>.<\/p>\n

Considering the fact that the attacks on our monastery have been repeated, we have serious concerns about the lives of our Sisters.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mr President, we hereby ask You to intervene and thus to prevent a mass tragedy.<\/strong><\/p>\n
