\"\"<\/a>\u201cIn My Father\u2019s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.\u201d<\/em> (Jn 14:2-3)<\/p>\n

On the fortieth day after His resurrection, Jesus ascends to heaven where He reserves a place for us. We need to realize that heaven is our home, our fatherland. For example, we can reflect on the following reality: We can see Christ on the Mount of Olives where He appears to the Apostles and to the Blessed Virgin. Jesus says to them: \u201cAll authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.\u201d<\/em> (Mt 28:18-19) After that, He was taken up and angels appeared and said to them: \u201cMen of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.\u201d<\/em> (Acts 1:11)<\/p>\n

Jesus has reserved a place for us in heaven. It is our place. It would be best if we could enter this place immediately in the hour of death and not be tormented somewhere in Purgatory because of our indifference, lukewarmness or weak faith. Let the fire of zeal burn in us so that we may be saved from another fire. Let us make an act of perfect contrition every day at 3 p.m.: \u201cJesus, Jesus, have mercy on me.\u201d Let us also love Jesus, be aware of what He has done for us and live in such way as to say like St Paul: \u201cI have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.\u201d<\/em> (2Ti 4:7-8)<\/p>\n

Wo ist unser Zuhause, unser Vaterland?<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

“Im Hause meines Vaters gibt es viele Wohnungen. Wenn es nicht so w\u00e4re, h\u00e4tte ich euch dann gesagt: Ich gehe, um einen Platz f\u00fcr euch vorzubereiten. Wenn Ich gegangen bin und einen Platz f\u00fcr euch vorbereitet habe, komme ich wieder und werde euch zu mir holen, damit auch ihr dort seid, wo ich bin.” (Johannes 14, 2-3) Am vierzigsten Tag nach seiner Auferstehung f\u00e4hrt Jesus in den Himmel auf, um dort f\u00fcr uns einen Platz zu reservieren. \u00a0Es ist wichtig bewusst zu werden, dass der Himmel unsere Heimat ist, unser Vaterland.<\/p>\n

Um diese Realit\u00e4t nachvollziehen, k\u00f6nnen wir zum Beispiel uns folgendes vorzustellen. Als Christus auf dem \u00d6lberg war, wo Er sich vor den Aposteln und der Mutter Gottes zeigt hat, sprach Er zu denen: “Mir ist alle Macht gegeben im Himmel und auf der Erde. Darum geht ihr zu allen V\u00f6lkern und macht alle Menschen zu meinen J\u00fcngern; tauft sie auf den Namen des Vaters und des Sohnes und des Heiligen Geistes\u2026” (Matth\u00e4us 28, 18-19) \u00a0Dann hob Er in den Himmel ab und die Engel sich erschienen, um zu sagen: “Ihr M\u00e4nner von Galil\u00e4a, was steht ihr da und schaut zum Himmel empor? Dieser Jesus, der von euch ging und in den Himmel aufgenommen wurde, wird ebenso wiederkommen, wie Ihr Ihn habt zum Himmel hingehen sehen.”(Apostelgeschichte 1, 11)<\/p>\n

Jesus hat uns bereits einen Platz im Himmel vorbereitet. Es ist unser pers\u00f6nlicher Platz. Es w\u00e4re am besten, wenn wir in der Stunde unseres Todes zu diesem Platz gehen w\u00fcrden und wegen unserer Gleichg\u00fcltigkeit, Faulheit und schwaches Glaubens irgendwo im Fegefeuer nicht leiden m\u00fcssen. Das Feuer des Eifers soll in uns drin brennen, damit wir nach dem Tod von einem anderen Feuer bewahren werden. Jeden Tag um 15:00 Uhr erweck dir die vollkommene Reue: “Jesus, Jesus, hab Erbarmen mit mir.” Wir sollen Jesus auch lieben und bewusst sein, was Er f\u00fcr uns getan hat und so zu leben, damit wir sp\u00e4ter wie Heiliger Paul sagen k\u00f6nnen: “Ich habe den guten Kampf gek\u00e4mpft, den Lauf vollendet, die Treue gehalten. Schon jetzt liegt f\u00fcr mich der Kranz der Gerechtigkeit bereit, den mir der Herr, der gerechte Richter, an jenem Tag geben wird, aber nicht nur mir, sondern allen, die sehns\u00fcchtig auf sein Erscheinen warten. (2 Timotheus 4, 7-8)<\/p>\n
