\"\"<\/a>By authority of the apostolic and prophetic office, in the name of the Triune God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate hereby declares God\u2019s anathema on Patriarch Bartholomew on the basis of Gal 1:8-9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The reason:<\/p>\n

He initiated and confirmed the pseudo Council in Crete. He confirmed the heretical document \u201cThe\u00a0Mission of the Orthodox Church in the Contemporary World\u201d<\/em> at this pseudo Council.<\/p>\n

a) He promotes the heresy of ecumenism<\/strong> which rejects orthodoxy and repentance, without which there is no unity in Christ (cf. Jn 17:21). Today, ecumenism promotes interreligious dialogue<\/span> based on reverence for pagan gods \u2013 demons (cf. Nostra Aetate 1965). This is blasphemy and a sin against the\u00a0Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

b) Using the phrase \u201cone religion must not predominate over the other ones\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, he places our salvation, obtained for us by the Son of God on the cross, on a level with pagan cults which worship demons<\/span>. This is haeresis maxima.<\/span><\/p>\n

c) Using the phrase \u201celimination of discrimination\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, he approves homosexual immorality and all gender-sexual deviations<\/span>. He thus denies the Decalogue.<\/p>\n

d) Using the phrase \u201celimination of fanaticism\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, he initiates and legalizes penalization and expulsion of monks, priests and believers for faithfulness and defence of orthodoxy<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The anathematized Patriarch now holds his office illegitimately and all his actions are null and void!<\/span> The believers must not obey him; otherwise they bring down a curse on themselves too!<\/strong> If he does not repent and dies in obstinacy, he will be eternally condemned. No one can remove the anathema \u2013 curse from him<\/span>; it can only be done by him himself through sincere and public repentance.<\/p>\n

Anathema declared on 12 July 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n

An anathema was also declared on the heretical Patriarch Bartholomew on 25 December 2015 (see https:\/\/vkpatriarhat.org\/de\/?p=12036<\/a>).<\/p>\n
