\"\"<\/a>How often it happens that the worst vagabond, if he turns to God with a sincere heart, is saved rather than righteous pharisees. But the fact is that pharisaism and deceit is in the hearts of us all. That is why Jesus speaks about it in the Gospel. When a tax collector and a Pharisee went up to the temple to pray, the Pharisee prayed thus: \u201cO God, I thank You that I am not like this tax collector. I fast twice a week, I give tithes of all that I get\u2026\u201d<\/em> The Pharisee\u2019s deeds were not bad, but what was his heart like? His heart was not broken before God.<\/p>\n

The Apostle Peter said to the Jews on the day of Pentecost: \u201cYou killed God; you crucified Jesus!\u201d They were cut to the heart\u2026 and they asked: \u201cWhat shall we do?\u201d \u201cRepent, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Indeed, the Holy Spirit comes each time we repent. Every day we make mistakes time and time again, we sin by thoughts, finding fault with everyone\u2026 We must stop: \u201cLord, forgive me, I am twice as bad. And if this person sins and causes offence, forgive him too.\u201d But we immediately condemn our neighbour and think how good we are. Even little children have this way of thinking, without even learning it. We all are proud and blind, and we need to fight against it. Therefore Jesus says: \u201cDeny yourself!\u201d And He explains: \u201cFor whoever desires to save his soul will lose it, but whoever loses his soul for My sake and the Gospel\u2019s will save it.\u201d<\/em> Man wants to save his soul relying on his own powers, without God, without Jesus, without His cross. But there is only one solution. Jesus says it clearly: we must lose our soul for His sake. Let us not pursue vain career. The first commandment says: \u201cYou shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind.\u201d<\/em> This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: \u201cYou shall love your neighbour as yourself.\u201d<\/em> However, we must love ourselves in the right way \u2013 so that we may be saved. I must love myself in such way as to keep the most precious treasure \u2013 eternal life \u2013 and I must desire this treasure for everyone, even for my enemies or murderers, like the saint martyrs. If I wish to love myself truly, I need to repent. This is pure love for myself \u2013 to put things in order in my heart. To give the first place to God and the cares of God, and to seek first the kingdom of God. This is holy egoism \u2013 I do not want just a little; I want everything. I want Jesus. And then, in the hour of death, we will be amazed at how great the love of God is and how much Jesus has prepared for us.<\/p>\n

Wahre Liebe zu sich selbst<\/span><\/h2>\n

Es ist oft so, dass der letzte Bettler eher errettet wird, wenn er sich Gott aufrichtig \u00f6ffnet und sich zu Ihm bekehrt, als die \u201egerechten\u201c Pharis\u00e4er. Aber in jedem von uns lebt drin ein Pharis\u00e4er und eine L\u00fcge. Deshalb gibt Jesus im Evangelium dieses Beispiel. Als Pharis\u00e4er und Z\u00f6llner in den Tempel zum Beten kamen, war das Gebet von Pharis\u00e4er derart: \u201eO Herr, danke, dass ich nicht wie dieser Z\u00f6llner bin. Ich faste zweimal in der Woche und gebe meinen Zehnten\u2026\u201c <\/em>(Lukas 18, 11-12).<\/em> Alles, was der Pharis\u00e4er getan hat, war nicht schlecht. Aber was war mit seinem Herz? Er hat vor Gott sein Herz nicht gedem\u00fctigt.<\/p>\n

Apostel Petrus sagte am Pfingsttag zu den Juden: \u201eIhr habt Gott get\u00f6tet, Jesus gekreuzigt!\u201c<\/em> Das Wort ging ihnen durch das Herz und sie fragten ihn: \u201eWas sollen wir nun tun?\u201c<\/em> \u2013 \u201eTut Bu\u00dfe und<\/em> jeder von euch lasse <\/em>sich taufen auf den Namen Jesu Christi zur Vergebung euer S\u00fcnden, so werdet ihr empfangen die Gabe des Heiligen Geistes<\/em>\u201c <\/em>(Apostel 2, 37-38).<\/p>\n

Ja, der Heilige Geist kommt immer wieder, aber nur wenn wir unsere S\u00fcnde bereuen. Jeden Moment und jeden Tag machen wir Fehler, oder haben S\u00fcndengedanken. Auch wenn wir jemanden anschauen, fangen wir sofort denjenigen zu kritisieren und zu verurteilen. Wir m\u00fcssen aber sofort es aufh\u00f6ren: \u201eHerr, vergib mir, ich bin <\/em>doppelt so schlecht. Wenn diese Person <\/em>s\u00fcndigt und <\/em>ein schlechtes Vorbild gibt, <\/em>bitte verzeihe <\/em>es ihr<\/em>\u201c.<\/em> Wir verurteilen aber trotzdem unseren Nachbarn und denken, dass wir besser sind als er. Das ist schon in kleinem Kind drin, niemand muss uns das beibringen. Wir alle haben Stolz und Blindheit und m\u00fcssen st\u00e4ndig dagegen k\u00e4mpfen. Jesus sagt zu uns: \u201eVerleugne sich selbst!<\/em>\u201c <\/em>und erkl\u00e4rt weiter: \u201eDenn wer sein Leben will behalten, der wird es verlieren und wer sein Leben verliert um meinet- und des Evangeliums willen, der wird es behalten<\/em>\u201c <\/em>(Markus 8, 35). Der Mensch will seine Seele allein retten, ohne Gott, ohne Christus und ohne seinen Kreuz. Aber es gibt nur eine L\u00f6sung. Jesus sagt es klar und zwar, dass wir f\u00fcr Ihn unsere Seele verlieren m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n

K\u00fcmmern uns nicht mehr um unsere nutzlose Karriere. Das erste Gebot der Liebe sagt: \u201eDu sollst den Herrn, deinen Gott, lieben mit deinem ganzen Herzen und mit deiner ganzen Seele und mit deinem ganzen Gem\u00fct<\/em>\u201c<\/em>. Dies ist das erste und das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Gebot. Das zweite ist \u00e4hnlich: \u201eDu sollst deinen N\u00e4chsten lieben wie dich selbst<\/em>\u201c<\/em>. Aber wir sollen uns in der richtigen Weise lieben \u2013 das hei\u00dft, alles tun, um gerettet zu werden. Uns selbst wahrhaftig zu lieben bedeutet, den gr\u00f6\u00dften Schatz bekommen zu wollen \u2013 das ewige Leben. Das gleiche soll man auch allen anderen w\u00fcnschen, den Freunden und den Feinden \u2013 wie es Heiligen M\u00e4rtyrer getan haben. Wenn ich mich wirklich lieben m\u00f6chte, muss ich Bu\u00dfe tun. Die reine Liebe zu sich selbst besteht darin, alles in sich selbst in Ordnung zu bringen, Gott auf den esten Platz zu stellen bzw. Gottes Willen und als allererste das Reich Gottes zu suchen. Es ist heiliger Egoismus: Ich will nicht ein wenig, sondern will ich alles. Ich will Jesus. Dann werden wir uns in der Stunde des Todes dar\u00fcber stauen, wie gro\u00df die Liebe Gottes ist und wie viel uns Jesus vorbereitet hat.<\/p>\n
